If your not picked the first time what should you do next ?

I was not selected because they said discrepancy on my background form vs the poly .I passed the poly..I don't get it. I would think the poly is a continuation of the process. Some questions were worded different so some answers were different. I'm so upset.

Even if a department is desperate for new officers, the process is still very selective and extensive. 200 people will apply for an academy sponsorship/recruit position and only 3 or 4 will be chosen. It is extremely selective.

So I have minimal law enforcement experience and minimal volunteer work experience. I do have a bachelors degree and I’ll be getting my masters in December. Both of these degrees are in the music field. I want to become a law enforcement officer and I have great fitness levels. If I take a course and do some volunteer work within the next few months, what is my likelihood of getting the job in 2025? (Assuming the other parts of the hiring process go successfully.) Yes, but I still see the turning down unqualified applicants.

I went to the correctional officer academy, graduated, and worked on the job for 2 months. I put in my resignation without completing my probation. Do I still qualify to be a police officer? How do I explain it in my application?

Yes but you are going to have to be a strong applicant next is you will have to. prove you are committed.

I have been facing a series of rejections from several departments despite my diligent efforts to find employment. If it's anything like basic, just do it a day at a time absorb all you can, and don't take getting yelled at to heart.

From a mental toughness aspect, you need to focus on the studying and training that's right infant of you. Unlike other training, you will be removed if you do not meet standards.
