No1 really does bbg/bbs guids and it sucks

I mean my main prediction is the sheer momentum you get from the yields Kupe has without builders early, giving you a MASSIVE leg up.

kupe try not to spawn next to 1 spice 3 deer 7 whales challenge(impossible)

It's not fair for a New Zealander to make fun of me for mispronouncing a Māori word like "Marae." I'm sure you'd have an equal amount of difficulty pronouncing the unique building of the American civilization, the film studio.

nah its pronounched ma (like mama) and the rae sounds like r-lie where the r is said like an l at the same time. makes more sense if you search up someone saying it but it's hard to explain in English phonetically cause they don't have the same r. but its the same ending as lie

The BBG version is quite literally a nerve in all regards, no free techs, no 2 pop cap, no immediate production on woods and rainforests and yet they're still super strong. If you ever get a good spawn without the nerfs you are absolutely unstoppable.

In a competitive FFA, spacing is a big deal. The most important part of the better balanced maps mod is spacing players evenly so no one player had an advantage off of no close opponents. It is not possible to balance Maori's embarked spawn with this in mind. Also in case it wasn't clear, the embark spawn is a massive downside. When they remove the embark spawn, the civ is still op in spite of a lot of other nerfs.
