They’re both cute. Jensen n Daneel’s version is oh so much sexier! They did an amazingly awesome job!

In my opinion, Jensen was a better Betty but Chevy Chase was a better Al. They both seemed more natural in their roles.

Obvious difference: Paul has a bass, while Jensen has a guitar. Other than that, a really great job at recreating one of the funniest music videos of all time.

It is nice to see both videos and to be able to compare. Both are very well done and although almost exactly the same are both individual in their own right. Boh videos are very entertaining. Both are worthy to see again!

I was always a fan of this video! I was born in the 70s, so I grew up with both Paul Simon and Chevy Chase. I loved this song, always have, and now Jensen and Daneel have made me fall in love with this song all over again! They did such a fantastic job and it makes me smile as much as the original did, if not more ❤

I absolutely love their remake. The funnest part of the original is when Chevy is blowing the horn in Paul's face, because of how much shorter he is.

Love how he had Paul simons expressions down!

@@J4C08G4M3R No, it's not green screen. I saw on Instagram they record this with a help from other people (forgot their name tho') and one of them transform his whole office to recreate this room to look like the original music video. Sorry for my English ^^

@@J4C08G4M3R basically the people who help Jensen also want to do the same thing (recreate the music video) so they just went total for it. You can check Jensen and Daneel Instagram, they mention several people who help them making this video and you will find that one of them also making the same video. And yes I'm agree with you. Jensen is such a great actor, would be nice if in the future he will appear in nice action movie or in Marvel / DC universe :)

All of the walls and the floor match too. I don't think they could have done nearly as good of a job with a green screen.

Love this! Jensen was about perfect. Daneel did great too, but to be fair, Chevy Chase's comedic timing is unparalleled. Big shoes ( literally and figuratively ) to fill. :) Keep em coming!

😻😹 Jensen looks like Hugh Jackman, and the whole thing starts out like Dean trying to channel Paul Simon. That is definitely a Dean face when Daneel\Chevy interrupts/takes over!

Don’t bet on it. Chevy is kind of a dick, I understand he had a fullbore linear meltdown when he was roasted. It was the only roast that has never been seen since it’s original presentation. And I’m not so sure about Paul Simon either, Carrie Fisher divorced him for a reason! That said, I suspect he would at least be civil and cordial about it.

Way to go Ackles! So fun! You guys were great!

It's really the contrast in size between Chevy and Paul that makes theirs the better (more humorous) video, although the remake is not at all bad.

Hope Paul gets to see this

I think it’s perfect the way it is. Jensen being the more famous would be expected to be the focal point, same as Paul being the writer of the song should have been the main deal, so yes, again, perfect the way it is in my opinion. The height difference if, for instance, Jensen did it with Jared Padalecki would have been hilarious though x

That was a fun rendition. the few off parts made the Ackles version a bit more their own, and that's cool. Still love the original, but the others is cool to watch on its on merits. :)

I think they kind of missed the point of what made the video funny Chevy was super confident and made the song his own. Meanwhile Paul Simon who wrote it was relegated to number 2 looking dejected he didn't get to sing his own song. But he sings backup for Chevy and grabs the instruments cause he doesn't want to just feel awkward. The others don't really feel that way even though I can tell they are trying. If the pairing was reversed it probably would have been better.
