Comparison of 3 Hungarian styled bows - Part 3

The Comparison of 3 Hungarian styled bows,
in the range of 34 to 40 lbs/ 28” - Part 3
The Hungarian bow, or Magyar bow, is a very beautiful bow and has some parallels to the Hunnish bow.
The Magyars and Huns were nomadic tribes, conquering in western Europe- but in different centuries. One theory is, that the western Europeans seemed to mix up the tribes, which led to the name of ‘Hungarians’ 😁

Participating bows are:
1. Hornbow by Ralf Neumann (rn-bows)
2. Biocomposite Hungarian bow by Csaba Grózer
3. Griffin by Paragon bows
Part 2 is about:
* Chapter 2
1. Feeling/ Performance
2. Accuracy
3. Speed
I thank all bowyers for creating these beautiful bows!
It’s been a pleasure to test and compare!
As you can imagine, it’s not easy to rate… a few categories are clear in results, other results are depending on my personal taste 😁
In the end: All bows are winners! 🥰
Due to length of the comparison I have split the comparison in 3 parts.
The second part is about “Performance” and the
third and last part is about “Beauty and Effort”
☺️
I hope you enjoy!
Thank you so much for your support!

Outstanding work! Both Paragon’s Griffin and Raider remain on my bow bucket list. Your comparison of your three beautiful Magyars was thorough and professional. Your leather crafting is exquisite, as are the arrows you’ve produced. You are an exceptional craftsperson and learner. 🙇🏻‍♂️ I hope you continue sharing. Best wishes!

Excellent video. Very helpful. I’m learning so much from you. Thank you!! I like Nawalnay, Grozer, Paragon. It is impossible to choose only one. So my plan is at least one from each. My Grozer plan is x-carbon or Bio. Paragon, fully loaded Griffin. Nawalnay? Haven’t decided other than it will be mono.

☺️ Thank you so much, dear Tim! ☺️🙏🙏 You have excellent plans! 😁 Regarding the Nawalny bows: The Saracen and the Turkish are classics and you can’t go wrong, the Seljuk is an excellent shooter but difficult to string, the Korean Warbow is nice, but not a typical Korean traditional sports bow… the Xerxes will be my next bow I will order from Lukasz 😅 Best wishes! 🏹🔆
