Maisto is great, but Norev still is slightly better. The small details are more defined in the Norev.

@DiecastPassion: That was a fantastic comparison....Would definitely help people to decide. I wish Maisto too had a black alloy...it would have been a killer...Nevertheless end of the day you get what you pay for..

I have to say that Maisto did pretty good, there's just an slightly difference in level of detail compared to Norev model.

Maisto is good but norev is still better.

So here my conclusion: Maisto is not really detail about interior and small parts but it good for someone who need an 1:18 car under 30$ Norev is slightly better, focus on detail more than Maisto, quite expensive but it's worth AutoArt?? Well, AutoArt is focus on every detail, interior, paint,..... but only bad thing is the cost is too damn high! But atleast, they all good :))))

No only the gt edition 1 has a spoiler

I bought my 1:18 maist AMG GT for 35 euros on some website. On the same website norev version costs 100+ euros. Norev is little more detailed but those details aren't worth 70 euros.

norev is better cause more detail like on the tail lights maisto I know you can do better

Norev is slightly better in many detailing aspects, but the price many tempt people to buy the maisto one.

You've only covered half of the video....... Where is the description about the openings, the moving air-spoilers, the quality of hinges used, weights etc? So much more to be covered :(

Well,I think norev is better

AUTOart is coming out with 4 colours of the GT S. The only question is and I have asked them, why bother? After a full year behind Norev and all they're going to make is the GT S not even the Edition 1 version. So what's the point, by the time they release the GT S, someone else will be doing the GT R so in the world of AMG, AUTOart is playing catch up. They're charging even more for the composite models now, they moved away from diecast. However, I do like their attention to details, like door hinges and engine compartments.

Oh God how Maisto makes those tail lights looks like a joke when you compare it to Norev XD

Mine is a Ferrari Berlinetta and a Ford Mustang 2015

Norev: - headlights - tail lights - reverse lights - wheels - grill in between the spokes of the Mercedes logo - undercarriage detailing Maisto: - interior - exhausts - defroster lines on rear window - working spoiler - engine (photoetched AMG lettering)

A small detail I love of the Maisto one: There is a picture your the car on the center screen

Maisto equal to norev models but norev give more details

Maisto is great car i have maisto and noerv cars but noerv is broken noerv is awkward

Tf is wrong with the wheels on maisto??

Autoarts don't want as many AMG road car models as they should but I do have the white C63, CL63 and black S63. BBRs are too expensive and I don't think Exotos make AMG road cars. GT Spirit is the one to fillful my AMG dreams at moment, not ideal being resin but they will do for now.

Cmc is the best car models maker

both look like toys. if you really enjoy motorsport, spend a couple more dollars and get an actual replica. Maisto is as crappy as you can get. Norev is not bad but not good either. anything below hot wheels elite looks like a toy. I don't get why people try to collect this crappy toys. guess what. instead of spending 80$ and buying 4 crappy maistos, buy one good autoart, or gmp, or minichamps, or hot wheels elite, highway 61, etc... if you are not really into cars, I guess you can collect some crappy toy. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with you to, but some people can only afford ONE masito which means they can buy only 0.25 AUTOART, so i guess they dont have a choice...

because not all of them can afford expensive ones, so hard to comprehend? I'd rather collect real cars not these replicas if I'm rich enough, so what's the point people buying models at all?
