I always loved the Ares armour Kratos. GoWII really got me hooked on the franchise and I fondly remember all those damn challenges you had to do to unlock it. Figures wise, its handsdown the ultimate Kratos but that Ares armour will always hold a special place in my heart

That's my favorite Kratos figure too. The Ultimate Kratos. I didn't pick up the part 4 one because when I think of Kratos I think about the old design. It's a classic.

All great figures Cool seeing them all together, I only have the Ultimate GOW 3 Kratos & The GOW 4 Kratos, I can totally see the GOW 4 one being someones favorite figure of 2018

Владимир Басс Have you seen the Assassins creed figures? They went from being taller and looking incredible to having "meh" paint, smaller and poor sculpts in comparison to the Neca versions. And they all have fucky thick sword cases now for anyone that has one that is, and the wrist blades are just plain detachable rather than the sliding mechanism. Macfarlane dragged AC figures down and let Halo figures go to shit imo.

nope this figures dont sell in Russia, but Walking Dead series is looking sweet, although they pretty pricy for 9 inch figures, dont get me wrong - majority of my collection is NECA, im love them, but i remember McFarlane figures as walking dead series, spawn, horror figures and all of them have really nice sculpt and paint as well.

Incredible figures, I hope neca at some point make more characters from the god of war series, Zeus hercules , Deimos etc

There are a few more. They are variants that are painted like all blue or all black. Like Kratos when he does magic

all of the blades were blades of athena blue one is original.red ones happened after kratos put his god power in blade of Olympus

There is a Poseidon's rage which is a translucent blue, the dark odyssey and the Golden Fleece 1/4 scale. For NECA. The the D.C. Statsion -Figueroa- figures that weren't that bad except for Kratos that was the worts one and square enix's one.

Great review, I loved seeing all of the Kratos figures together. I’ve always loved God Of War III Kratos but I’m certainly like the God Of War IV Kratos. Love that axe.

The first one with Medusa Head, is my favorite.

GoW 3 Kratos and GoW 4 Kratos are great action figures: great sculpting, great paint applications, and good articulation. Therefore, they're equally awesome!!!

I’m pretty sure the thick legs are to help balance the figure.

The old 12" Neca is amaxing. The PAK is my favourite!

Do the flaming kratos chaos blades/ blades of Athena /sword fit into the ultimate kratos figure hands?

Imma sucker for articulation so I think the best figure would probably be the God of war 3 ghost of Sparta one, so I'm considering picking it up

Those are all blades of Athena...in GOW and in the first level of GOW2 were light gold with blu runes, then they turned dark gold/orange with red runes

I would buy the GOW4 kratos looks buffer then the rest and has a cool beard the only thing missing from the GOW4 ONE IS THE BLADES

Chris Canavan Well on the package the figure is stored in... it say,”The Blades of Athena”. So,i’m going by that notion! They were given to Kratos by Athena.....when he destroyed Ares! Actually,the blades are a upgrade.....his main hardware.

InfiniteGaming I'm aware I've played all of the games from 1-4 including chains and Ghost

The God of war 3 figure is a little thicker however it is video game accurate compared to the first three figures the first three released on the Ps2 the design was smaller it's not Neca's fault they did a great job there.

Great review, but you're missing some, like Poseidon's Rage figure and Dark Odissey figure

When I was little I seen kratos walking in the distance with kitchen knives in each hand till this day I don’t know if it was just a big buff dude that painted himself or if it was actually him I wanted to run out and say hi but my dad stopped me

I like kratos 3 cause the painting is very detail including the nemean cestus

God of war 3 kratos has thick legs to hold Hercules gauntlets too heavy. To mediate that they made that boy thick didn’t skip leg day

GOW3 is definitely the best one because of the head sculpt which is amazing. It is even better than play arts kai god of war head sculpt but the second here is Aries armor one. That figure has really good resemblance to GOW2 Kratos esp from the opening sequence of the game. GOW4 Kratos figure is alright. It is decent but they fucked up the head sculpt pretty big time. For me the best Kratos is actually the Kratos statue from the Collector's edition. I know it is non articulated but NECA could have done a better job with the head sculpt. They can and they have done it so many times. Even if that meant driving up the price a little bit. And God I hate the bootlegs. I was looking to buy a couple of Kratos figure to display alongside the statues but all I find is bootlegs. Off course I am some five six years late but still. You can easily find play arts kai Kratos for still a much better price than NECA ones.

How do I know that it's a bootleg before buying online?
