If I’d got the Triumph I’d want the Honda. I’ve got the Honda so now need the Triumph.

I am also in the same situation, hesitating between reason and passion...

Honda’s are on every corner. That triumph is a truly EXCLUSIVE, European. Stability control with triumph.

Have to ride them both, the Honda seems more passenger friendly and the front brakes have better specs and maybe the long term reliability is better.

These two bikes are so very close and both are excellent. The Honda is $1200 more which is totally justified by Honda reliability and resale value. I'm thinking the Honda is likely the smarter choice long term, but I like some of the styling of the Triumph just a tad bit more. I want to see them both in front of me... I have narrowed my list down to these two.

Loved the music. Can you share track? BTW.. my vote is going for the Trident. I like bigger cylinder bores. Torque curve is way flatter than the Honda.

So the Triumph develops its power lower down with better midrange. Interesting to see a real world comparison v Triumph, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki- around town and through twisties.

I love them both so much for different things. I will get one next year or 2022, but decision is hard like parent who must decide with one of his two childrens will survive and with one will die situation

In Brazil, you can have a Triumph only if you live close to a big city like Rio, BH, Porto Alegre or São Paulo.

The Triumph is a little prettier imo.

both the same in term of want and need ! what about maintenance and spare parts? honda?

Honda is easy to maintain compared to Triumph. And regarding the spares it depends on how big the distributors are and how fast they listen to the customers.

Check their official website for price. Though Triumph Trident 660 cost less than CB650R in some markets.

In defence of the Honda, if you wanted access to the higher bhp above 10k you’d now exactly what you were doing, where as it’s most always a sudden chunk of torque that’s going to catch you out. Love the look of the little Trident though🙂

The Power and Torque is from European spec CB650R. And we also mentioned in description about difference in specs for different markets.

Triumph is also not what the video says 59nm for 2 years licenced,(limited to 35kw, and 46.5 horses) and 81nm of torque for full version
