So, these comments are hilarious. First y’all were bashing the old QX80 for being outdated, but now you want it because it has a V8 and the new one has a TTV6? Pick a side. Also, I’m not sure why we’re glorifying the unreliable, outdated, and overpriced piece of junk the LX600 is, considering Toyota is having a bunch of issues with that V6…

It's always like that, people start to like a car when it's not going to be produce anymore but it was hated when new, anyway, the previous QX80 looks more dated than other cars because it was already dated 5 years ago or more, because it was just a restyling from the same generation that came out in 2010. For example, a Hyundai Santa Fe since 2013 had 3 generations and since 2010, 4. (I know they are not the same segment, but it's just a compirison).

Temper that with the fact that we've only seen the very top $112,000 Autograph trim. Wait and see what then inside of a base 2025 QX80 that costs $30000 less looks like.

I don't care what anyone has to say, I grew up through the car designs of the 90's, 00's, and the 10's and have always been a massive car guy. Car design in the 20's is becoming rather incredible overall. This new QX is really good looking, especially when comparing to the older models.

as a current owner of 2017 QX80 before they refreshed it into blandness up to 2024...I think the best example of the QX80 was the 2015-2017 models until Infiniti lamed it out for the normies and the QX80 lost its soul. Hopefully with the 2025 it gets its balls back . Because my 2017 gets compliments and people talking about it to this day

Infiniti (and to a lesser degree, Acura), lost the privileges' of demanding $$$ fo such cars when they minimized support for the luxury brand(s). Infiniti lost their niche when they buried the Q45. They became expensive Nissans (can't say the same for Lexus and again, to a lesser extent Acura). Instead of asking $100K for a well equipped QX80, they need to go back to basics and bring in the demographics that can eventually pay as much when they have a family.

The 2025 certainly looks great, much more modernized. However I am not a fan of all these twin turbo replacements, the gas mileage is simply not there real world. Granted you may save $200/yr with 12,000mi a yr when compared to 16mpg average for v8 vs 19mpg for v6. So... $200/yr savings for more headaches with all the recalls, more things to break, and the added cost for the engine itself. $200 would hardly pay for your groceries in a week or two, so a week of groceries savings for 288 weeks of financing is a GREAT DEAL. Personally I like big old school trucks and SUVs and I have no benefit from stupid features such as lane keep assist, self driving, collision breaking, etc. I have been driving for 35yrs with never having an accident from crossing my lane, rear ending someone from not paying attention. Those features are simply not needed if you cannot keep a vehicle in its lane or pay attention in front of you then you simply do not need to drive. I have no problem with hybrid technology, however an EV would be out of the question as much as i drive and tow, if I had to go buy a twin turbo v6 truck I would buy an f150, simply because the ecoboost has been out so long, definitely not because I am a Ford fan.

I think a N/A V6 in this would be underpowered. A 5.0 V8 with significant power would be nice though, they did something like that with the FX50 for a while. Ford and Lincoln started the trend of turbocharging the engines in their SUVs and pickup trucks in North America, and the Japanese ( Toyota especially) have tried to follow with little to no success.

Seems to me that they are the same vehicle with different body panels, interior, and engine/transmission. I thought that the 2025 was going to be an all new vehicle, I guess I was wrong. I really like the interior on the old QX80, the best thing about it was that you could get basically the same vehicle in the Armada platinum for $70K MSRP and with current dealer incentives you can get an Armada Platinum for under 60K. Now, the question is do I think that the "redesigned" QX80 is worth 50K more than and Armada Platinum and my answer is HELL NO! I cannot see Nissan selling many of these at $110K, I would have to be drunk and on some seriously illegal drugs to choose that QX80 over a fully loaded Escalade or Navigator which are much bigger and have much more room in them.

The word "autobiography" must now have 4 imaginary letters in it because I read the word "Autograph" on the 2025 car. Was that heat making you hallucinate, Roman? Also, "most fastest?" When did grammar take a metaphorical back seat in your videos? I mean, there have always been one or two grammatical faux-pas in these videos but that one is something we learn in kindergarten. Let me guess, the heat got you? Ford Navigator? Yes, I know that Lincoln is owned by Ford, but that doesn't make what he said correct. That's like saying that Chevrolet or GMC makes the Escalade simply because they each make SUVs upon which the Escalade is based. Yet another heat-related slip-up, I guess.

Secondly why are you comparing the lowest trim line on the outgoing 2024? You are showing the Lux Trim line when you should be showing the top trim line of the predessor which is the Proactive. The 2022 Proactive that I currently own has the digital rear view mirror & the full pano glass roof as well as every feature possible. So you are uninformed & uneducated on this Brand & are doing an injustice by talking about something that you obviously did NOT take the time to research. I find your video completely misleading.😡👎

Ok sorry I got confused because you said your 2022 Proactive has the full pano glass roof. So, you’re saying you got it aftermarket? On average how much would something like that cost? Just out of curiosity as I have a 2024 and would love a Pano.

I don't see the added value in the new one. For probably two mpg better fuel economy, I pay 50 grand more? With our two kids and the dog, the older version seems to be totally sufficient. Yes, I might have to pay a little more in fuel, but I also saved 50 grand to begin with. As somebody who doesn't need all the driving nanny's, I really don't see me going for the new one. I do however like the fridge in the new one. So, all in all, I would have to say, there is just not enough innovation or real added value for me to make me want the new one. If the at least would have added a battery for about 50 miles of range to be able to do shorter round trips, that would have been added value. And how is this brand new top product in any way better than it's competition? I just don't see it. sorry folks, I'm not impressed. Unfortunately this car just barely catches up to the current market, but fails to make a case for itself to be either better or more special than the competition. Maybe a case for real Infinity fans. Are there such people?😊

Looks exactly the same only different!!! Way BEtTER than the crappy Cadillac & the troubled Range Rover! I had those two & believe me within the short time I owned them...6 months average...brand new SUVs...they spent 4-5 months at the Dealerships who did nothing to remedy the issues! I went to Infinity. I had the FX 45 a beautiful driving Machine. They discontinued the V8! It drove & sounded awesome! I currently have the 2022 QX 80 Proactive! Truly a dream machine! It brings back the nostalgia of my FX 45. Kids pull up beside me as they did when I was driving my FX 45 & still say....Man that thing sounds awesome! Yes the 2024 may not appeal to those you want a more futuristic SUV but...the 2025 will never have the growl & the confidence afforded the 2024 & older!

Sorry you are wrong. The Nissan Armada would have to be fully loaded to get to the Infinity QX 80 Proactive trim. The downside to that is you would still have a smaller engine with less towing capability in the Nissan. More importantly you would have to ask yourself...Why would I drive non luxury Nissan when I could drive a luxury Infinity for the same or less money?

Nissan reliability is abysmal enough. Slap a turbo on one, and it's abysmally awful. Slap two turbos on one, you are OUT OF YOUR FREAKING MIND. If you must waste your money on one of these rather than just about anything else, LEASE it and HOPE TO GOD you'll make it to the end of that lease and still be able to drive it back to the dealership to wad it up and throw it away.

I don’t think you have any real evidence to make such claims, Nissan has been successfully using turbocharging for years, especially with V6 engines. I understand you don’t like it that’s fine, but let’s not make up crazy fallacies about something that hasn’t even happened yet.
