Comparing your standard driveway light to the Wagan tech Solar + LED Floodlight 2000.
About: Bursting out of the shadows and blinding the competition, Wagan Tech has done it again! Taking our mega-popular 1,000 lumen Solar LED Floodlight and upgrading it to be 2x brighter with a larger battery, the Solar + LED Floodlight 2000 RC was born!
Worry-Free Design
A completely self-sufficient and self-contained design, just mount it to any hard surface (fence, pole, wall, tree) and turn on to provide light anywhere you need it. Solar powered and waterproof (IP65 rated), once you set it up, you can forget about it.
Remote Controlled
One of the most innovative features of the Solar + LED Floodlight 2000 RC is the remote control. Able to turn the light on/off, switch between high/low modes, and set the timer, the remote control allows you to adjust the settings without leaving the comfort of the indoors or having to climb a ladder!
Features
Providing 2,000 lumens of bright light are the 30 Epistar LEDs mounted beneath a glass lens. Optimized for excellent light dispersion, the reflector provides a broad spread of light to illuminate wide areas. The battery is capable of providing 3 full nights (36 hours) of light on a single charge. The case is made out of tough polycarbonate that is waterproof and built to withstand the elements. With a simple mounting bracket, the light is able to be mounted at the optimal angle of your choosing.

Hey there joey! The cost and features are dependent on the models that you are looking at. We carry a full line of pure sine wave and modified sine wave inverters and have been manufacturing them since 1991. Let me know which inverters you're looking at and I can give you more specs and feature details!

Will you be making a dusk to dawn in 5 modes? 1-full power. 2-medium power. 3-low power. 4-low power with full power when sensor is triggered. And 5-off power to full power when sensor is triggered. I cannot seem to find any solar lights that do that.

Hi Furball, I think the problem lies with battery capacity. If our light ran all night (from dusk to dawn) at full power, our battery would need to be 2-3x the size.

It's a nice product but mounted on a housewall you will never get 10 hours of full direct sunlight to keep it fully charged. Especially as you can't adjust the solar panel angle to maximize sun exposure independent of the actual light.

It depends where your house wall is located. I've had one on the outside wall of my house for over a year and it has no problem running every-night without fail.

@@WaganTech The wall runs almost north /South and the lamp would be on the western side. At best maybe 4- 5 hours of good sunlight ( mid day to 4:30/5pm). since sunset is around 6 pm, the last hour the sun is on the horizon so almost minimal charge. You are lucky if your light works all the time. I have a solar spot light, that if the panel doesn't get good sunlight, it gets dimmer over time. And that is only on when motion is detected.

@@mpcp27 let's not forget that this light can run three nights on a single charge; it doesn't need to get a full 10 hours of charge in a single day!

I agree with you. We have a hard time trying to get an accurate depiction of them in use at night.
