Totally agree….the trailer could have been for any of a dozen FPS/RTS WWII games. This video on the other hand gets the juices flowing.

The Luftwaffe strafing run at the start of the video was actually an american plane (P47 Thunderbolt).

That breaching on enemy occupied buildings and aoldier throwing frags on the door was beautiful

This already looks great. I'm so happy with a pause feature as well! It allows for some nice coordinated attacks without having to constantly zoom all over the map.

Please consider some of the details in the MoW series of games with longer ranged combat with tanks and overall and improvement with combat in general leaning toward realism.

That building clearing animation is fantastic

@@fudgeyman99 This game is like dark crusade or the dlc from coh2 but with a bigger emphasis on the map, it's not wrong to say that it's similar to total war where your actions on the map impact your battles. Like having certain structures lets you make certain units or having roads improves mobility. In the case of coh 3 I am going to assume you can build forward camps and build up defenses on the world map and those will have some impact on the battles, basically like dark crusade where you can fortify the map and start with better units.

The next TW fantasy game will be Warhammer 3. You can keep dreaming about Total Warhammer, because we've had overmap strategy in Dark Crusade and the closest we got is Apocalypse mod and DoW3. If total warhammer 3 does well on release, then we'll likely see another three or five years of expansions for that before CA even thinks about another new game.

Dynamic campaign and tactical pause - basically my CoH3 wishlist, from someone who played hundreds of hours of CoH1 back in the day but moved onto more slower-paced, singleplayer-focused strategy games like Total War since then.

If you want that you should check out steel division 2! Basically has 1:1 scale with km big maps. Tanks, airplanes and arty with huuuge gun ranges. Lovely game.

CA have long said that TW style rts gameplay will not work for WW or modern war settings. They can borrow some campaign ideas but forget battles like TW in Company of heroes...

Both games are published by Sega so any collaboration is possible. they did it once by deploying Valkyrie Chronicles to COH2
