Welcome today we are going to test different AT infantry units in Company of Heroes 3. I assume that majority of you guys got the feeling of which infantry units are good in fighting the vehicles but how good are they when we do a comparison. Which of these units are strong and which are weak and why?. This is what we are going to do and we will decide which infantry unit is the best in dealing with the armor.

Yo yea it is :D Infantry section as a blob has "its strengths" but when compared against tank vs Jagger difference is huge

Great video. I’d like to add that the panzer jaguars do come with a half track. Which I believe is a 220 manpower value. It’s also a extra unit that can fight and be upgraded. Also it can be repaired by the panzer jaguars.

A quick comment on the bazooka sections. Had a guy spam them for the purpose of their white phosperous attack, which was surprisingly good when spammed.

Panzer Jagers from DAK are definitely meant as an early game answer to British light armor. Shouldn't be considered late game units.

Yo, yes and no. If their guns penetrate they can do decent dmg. But that their main tactical use is early game bcs of lack of penetration is true. However, they are AT infantry in the end

@@strategydux For that reason, I'm glad you showed their capabilities against more challenging targets. They might be worth flanking something heavier or pushing that early advantage before they get heavy armor.

@@strategydux in my honest opinion they could turn into actual late game option... if they weren't tie to mech assalt groups, which has a 6mins cooldown for a single one, and could potentialy cost fuel if you upgrade with armor reserves..which basicaly negates all its atributes as early AT and instead becomes a "extra" with discount...

@@2ClutchGamers Yea they are first aid in early and even mid game if you need something as a backup but on their own they are bad. Just like other units as we saw beside Jagers hahaha

@@Robyn_Bank It can if you want to spam them but to be honest they are not worth it because of low penetration. If their penetration would be buffed more than yes. Now every 3th shot they penetrate if it would be every second than we could speak about it. In General DAK really lacks any infantry capacity to deal against tanks....
This was super interesting video. Rank list puts perfectly where each AT infantry units are and gives us a great insight on their usage on the field against tanks. Recommend what next you would like to see..
i assume that all USF AT squads you are also conting all upgrades from the base (more specifically infantry suport center) yes? due to the 10 extra HP on all squads + the 50% munies cost reduction on paras zooks.

yea I've added 10 hp per man in unit. And yes for Zookas :D but in general 37 Ammo is almost like one At mine or upgrade for Kettelkrad it is cheap as hell :D

Currently there's a bug with the 50% munition upgrade, if you call in a para squad after it has been researched it is full price and not 37munitions.

Yea it really puts Wehrmacht Jaggers on top. One Jagger is most efficient and the deadliest AT in the game

And the Zookboys outperforms Daks jagers that are 6min call-in only. +not many know but i heard that zookboys pen increases with vets

@@Prorok1994 we will test it and see interesting. We need to confirm this. But even if that is true only Paratroopers might get higher ranking place

Adding 1 more guy to the squad could be good buff. It would allow 1 more salvo to be fired and be dangerous to the tank

I think your getting stuck on the idea of adding guys. They speculated troops. It would make more sense to increase there rate of fire seeing that there better trained and more famuliere with there weapon. Also I don’t like the idea of making an AT unit a better bullet sponge, that’s the rifleman’s job :)

@@austinschmitt9485 rate of fire can work as well but problem is mostly their penetration that they do not have enough quality time to penetrate and do dmg in order to force tank to retreat or pose threat. But I do agree that making them a sponge also alo is not the best solution
So, Jäger inf can literally "walk" over armor and can kill infantry as well from what i see. But a Specialized AT inf with 2 zooks loses everytime, even from cover. And the poor performance of paratrooper and SSF really hits hard, even when they fight from cover. On top of that paratrooper without lmg are also worse vs inf than Jäger. Whats also weird, two schreck can kill (literally snipe) a halftrack, making most allied vehicles completely useless. But if you have to fight the 8-Rad, you need to hit it at least t times from my experience and it still gets away sometimes. I call that bullshit. Waiting for fixes before i play this game again. These "Jäger only armies" followed with Panzer IV´s in the mid-late game really gets boring. Now i have proper proof how broken this is. Thx for this video. Relic needs to see this.

Thanks bro for the comment. I agree that Jaggers are really good vs tanks. In order to fix it they should buff bazookas a bit especially specialized units like bazooka squads. Bigest advantage Shrek has to bazooka is penetration. For every penetration Shrek has bazooka will bounce 2 shots and do less dmg per salvo. So they in general do less dmg and have worse penetration
I feel like Jagers are a bit overpowered. They're good against tanks, infantry, and can smoke HMGs. They ought to get nerfed a little, maybe separating smokes from shreks. That said, they're one of the few strong things Wehr gets, so I'd expect something else to get buffed if they do get nerfed. Maybe panzergrens, I never see them built

You said it really well everything else from basic tier is shit so Jaggers are really decent. But Infantry sections overall are stronger. Jaggers when upgraded with shreks are weaker vs infantry than they would be without any upgrade

I only ever use PZgrenadiers if I already have 2 breakthrough MP40 upgraded Grenadiers, because I don't like spamming more than 2 of each unit. Same purpose though, just more expensive and worse.
Makes no sense the Wehr jaegers being so strong as well as the inf section doing only 10 damage less than a rocket launcher. They should do 70-80 damage max

They are much more expensive than others and also you only have 1 guy with shrek. I think that jaggers are not to be nerfed bur rather to buff bazzoka a bit :D
they could easily fix panzerjagers if they eighter A: make a way so you could build them from base like the zooks squads, or B: revert the terrible changes they did to them, giving it a 5th man + its RPM back lelic being the dumbass as allways overnerfs everything withouth any proper testing, you can see that on reinforce plane, armor reserves, booby trap and betwen lots of others...

Adding additional man would make slight difference in survivability but I think their capabilities to deal with armor would be same if they do not increase At gun penetration rate. At the moment every 3th is penetration. Or even give them some AT Grenades or Snare special ability or something. Since they are doing low dmg at least give them utility to slow down tanks or something since they can kill it hahaha

@@strategydux thing is the extra man is not there to make the DPS go higher but to just make sure it can at least shot 1 salvo before it even dies, currently they are ultra garbage, 85HP 4 man squad? FUCKING GRENADIERS HAVE MORE HP THAN THAT!!!! but one that does increase the DPS is the change they made to make the RPM at longe range be 50% lower, it dosen't do much honestly but can help... tbh it is true that the DAK has the worst AT inf in the entire game by a large margin, sure Werh has only 1 squad as well that has a AT weapon not just grenades/fausts but the jager are just so goddem solid at the point that it dosen't matter, not only Pjager are not spammable/easy to obtain, they are super weak even weaker than zooks squads which are allready fragile by themselfs.

@@Robyn_Bank yea I agree they do need buff especially since they are call in why would you waste that call in which will lock you for minutes and easte manpower when you are already the most manpower consumption heavy faction. Rather build and tech up. They do need balance 100%
I have a feeling the Panzershrek Jagers will get nerf soon (as they should) because of how good their AT and AI abilitys

@@obi0914 infnatry section bois guns cancel light vehicle more. Late game allies can play light vehicle support role easier because germans have to get from behind the front line with specialized units closer to fire while Brits for example can face roll light vehicle with core main footman infantry sections from front. I think it is better to balance out by buffing units, USF mainly rather than nerfing anything
