Good job on DGNS, though I like to point out, neither is L/L old skool, nor is MGRS simply a metric system. MGRS is more precise, used by NATO ground forces and is able to quickly reference a rough estimate by designating an area(!) instead of a point. LL with degree, minute, decimal minutes or degree, minute, seconds, or degree, minute, second, decimal seconds needs to be communicated and worst case converted in joint operations. If you support ground forces in a helicopter, MGRS is a logical choice to minimize SNAFU moments... 😁

I hadn't realised the difference in the two, that's quite a contrast between MGRS and L/L, I am treading in unknown territory here clearly, I am not educated at all in Army co-operation or the way helicopters work in a completely different way in terms of warfare. always good to have a flight plan, fort hood, everyone was doing air assaults, so we got 2 60's, i was or my PLT was 2nd, so 1 st chalk goes out simulating multiple drops(1st chalk goes out, drops off, sits on azz till 2nd chalk, we sit out our azz, till 3rd chalk), then we attack the objective simulating we all landed at the same time. yeah, we got dropped off nowhere near our lz, about 13k away, i looked at my DAGR, then map, said oh sht, all i had was a Harris with a small whip, nogo, spent the next 30 minutes calling fuks on my cell. lucky it was training. but good sht.

Thanks for your reply. I now have the nav sussed and I am working on the coms. Do you know a European (UK) multiplayer server that supports the UH60 mod that I can go on to?

I know of a couple of servers, Aerobatics Online Community Mods and Through The Inferno -Dynamic PVE Mods [107th-NORCAL1], the second one will have enemies to attack whereas the first one is just a chillout server where you can A2A refuel, land on carriers and stuff like that. Hope that helps.

Not that I am aware of, it seem to have gone quiet with this module, there discord hasn't mentioned anything regarding updates and I am sure there were going to be changes or additions made in regards to flight plans. Sorry about that. Thank you for watching.
