  i7-9700k, 40GB DDR4, RTX 3060. Using a HP Reverb G2, nothing stunning at all. Hardware for flight, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS and Saitek Pro-Flight Rudder Pedals.

  Coalport is used for resupply of munitions for RN surface vessels including the QE class carriers so is not an entirely inappropriate location. Faslane is the SSBN base.

  RNAD Coulport is used exclusively for the Trident force and Submarines in general and the covered dock they have on Loch Long is for loading and unloading weapons from the submarines before either going out to sea or coming into Faslane. There is another uncovered dock on Loch Long to the south, which was used for Polaris, but hasn't seen use in some time. The arming jetty for surface vessels is further to the north of Loch Long at Glenmallen which is closer to the armament depot, DM Glen Douglas at Craggan.

  Looks like it’s going to be a good product to keep an eye on. These types of products along with Miltech’s newly announced air refueling module is really upping the military immersion in the sim.

  But can I land a Harrier on the moving asset? Its an interesting product for sure and a good alternative to the current Miltech UK Strike group package, which coincidently is about to have a HUGE upgrade to bring it inline with their Super Carrier Pro series. Glad you bought this add on to light as choice in the marketplace drives developers to produce new innovations

  hi, as the creator i can jump in here: yes it should be possible to land anything on the Moving assets, they are all collidable. As for the marketplace, while i believe that there shouldnt be any compatibility issues in bringing this to XBox, sadly it's due to Asobo/Microsoft to actually process our Application to be able to put it on the Marketplace

  Thanks for the review, hopefully Microprose will manage to deliver all the features it promise. But, they're not getting my money before it's done with the current track record, it was 100% abandoned by the developer, before being picked up again by Microprose. The developer isn't really someone that is trustworthy in my book. Hopefully this will be a redemption act and not a repat of what already happened once.

  I was really, REALLY hoping the "new" Microprose would revisit some of their famous older titles like F-19/F-117a and remake them with a modern engine just like this, but keeping the same beer and pretzels fun level. After seeing this, I kinda hope they don't bother if their development is this slow. My fingers are still crossed, because those were a big part of my early gaming memories.

  Microprose had little to nothing to do with the game as it currently stands. Their contributions will not be added until the next patch.

  I’m so happy you did this review. I hope you didn’t take my past comment as a poke at you, I was just disappointed your newest review wasn’t the Huey..lol. To qualify my remarks, I bare no ill will towards MicroProse. If it wasn’t for MicroProse I probably wouldn’t be the sim fan I am now. That being said I just don’t understand them attaching their branding to this. If they had bought it out, took it off of Steam and put a crap ton of work into it they could have rebranded it with a new launch. This dev has had 8 years to come through on his promises and failed to deliver. Now they are treating this launch like it’s a new game with a whole new roadmap. I hope they fix it, I really do but I appreciate you advising the community on it’s true state. Cheers!

  Agree with every word. This title has sat on Steam for years and there's been more sightings of Bigfoot than the Dev over those years ! I really thought they'd bought the guy out, purely to get the rights to the name back so they could put one of their WIP behind it, not look at rehashing an 8 plus year old project that was extremely barebones.

  It really is in need of some TLC, The Harrier itself is fine, the carriers, fine. The rest of it is pretty much no go. I will keep my fingers crossed and hope they make the correct decisions. Thank you for watching!

  Just seems so slow, but then again i was in the CJ typhoon only yesterday doing the loop in Msfs and im quite sure that thing is way over powered. How does it feel to you speed wise ? would you say it's accurate for the harrier is the flight modelling slightly off ?

  I don’t think anything we saw was cut scenes. Also they’ve confirmed all aircraft we’ve seen so far is in the base sim.

  Great job by Taog’s Hanger. I’ll still be waiting to see what Blackbird brings to the table before I decide as I know it’s supposed to be study level. It’s their next scheduled release so might as well wait. Thanks for the review, I do really appreciate Taog’s work.

  I know marketplace ratings don’t mean too terribly much, but the Allouette is one of the highest rated helicopters on the marketplace at a 4.8. I think that that speaks a lot to how well made it is and that the Huey will stand up nicely to anything blackbird puts out. (I don’t think blackbird will make a bad one, i just don’t think it’s going to be noticeably better)

  The what the hell's are great, getting warthunder'd off the carrier (if you put power to 100% on a warthunder carrier you get an invisible boost to take off speed in anyplane, even a big bomber or something hehe)

  I can’t believe you weren’t putting out a video on the new gorgeous Taog’s Hanger Huey instead you are playing an 8 yr old E/A game from a dev who went silent for years at a time. MicroProse might hurt their rep jumping on this one. I hope they prove me wrong. Cheers!

  The reason being, is I have a very busy weekend with the family and this was something I threw together in an hour. Also as much as I would love to buy the Taog's Hangar Huey, I'm a bit strapped for cash. Unlike a lot of reviewer's, I have to buy the aircraft I review, with a few exceptions that I have been lucky enough to be sent. Trust me it's very much in my crosshairs and will come as soon as funds will allow. On the subject of Microprose taking on development of CAP2. I am willing to give them a chance, they seem enthusiastic and have put out a plan of action. It can't be any worse than pouring money into DCS like I have been in the past, with Eagle Dynamics running a sim with coding from the Lock On era, also unlike ED who don't pay their 3rd party developers or cause a lot of controversy, I think spending the money for what could turn out to be something really good in the long run money well spent. I need to see if I can get in contact with anyone from Microprose to answer some questions. Sorry I didn't deliver on this one but like I said, it's very very much in the crosshairs! take care buddy.

  Runs very smooth and looks ok but the trees are huge and not looking brilliant in comparison. Will be interesting to see how this develops

  The original plan for CAP2 was to have the main character as a Royal Navy pilot on loan to the US. The Mach loop was added for training nav systems and also because Sim155 (original devs) are UK based

  @@azref3562 Ah, wasn't aware of that, makes sense now though. There was part of me hoping we would end up with a Sea Harrier since there are now multiple flyable types and apparently a UK carrier.

  What I'm seeing in this video is that the active leg is white, and subsequent track legs are green. I've just been following a checklist from JayDee which suggests that to follow a GPS flight plan there is an intermediate step of NAV then STR, and only then selecting TRK. When I do this I see the active leg turn into a black and green dashed line!? I have no idea what this means... Either way, regardless of the colour, TRK resolutely refuses to follow the planned track. I'm in NAV MODE. Suggestions from anyone welcome!

  You cant fly anything ekse from it? You should ne able too buddy. I fly the hellcat from the deck withouth prpblems. Its just landings in anything but the wildcat/hellcat that are a problem for me.
