If that ever happened to my child, God forbid, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to constrain my actions against the driver. I would become a madman, at that point.

Shut up man, you don't know anything, it was not driver's fault at all, the kid left his mom's hand as she was busy handling her umbrella and kid straightly ran away from the crossway path right into the vehicle. Not driver's fault.

Most drivers do not look when they are turning. Always in a big hurry to turn. Look twice even three times in all directions before you turn.

The Police are grasping at straws, one of the factors not being looked into is the modern architecture designs of vehicles, in the pursuit of crash protection, A, B & C (D) Pillars have greatly increased in size, making extra large blind spots, this is specifically evident when turning left at intersections, compounded by driving a truck and it amplifies the problem, its very unfortunate either way.

People are so selfish, it's just unbelievable. This family has lost a child and the first thing this lady can think to say is "It could have been our family!" smh

Excluding this case which is horrendous, a vast majority of the "pedestrian" collisions in Edm are crackheads jaywalking. I dont think drug addicts illegally walking across roads should be considered pedestrians
