"Our problem has not been that our policies are good but poorly implemented or that they're just too uncertain, the real problem is that our policies are very often bad - they are destructive of economic growth."
This is according to IRR Head of Policy Research, Dr Anthea Jeffery, said during a discussion analyzing Tito Mboweni's Medium-term Budget Policy Statement (MTBPS).
