I received a great question from one of our friends asking about how to get work experience without having work experience, and at the end, she also asked if there are any key skills or qualities that biomedical scientists of general lab researchers need to have in order to get involved in research work. So here I have discussed some of the qualities and skill sets that I have observed by working amongst lots and lots of researchers. The placement video is also linked below!

Nooooo I’m totally with you on the labelling things! Can’t tell you the amount of times I put two unlabelled tubes into a centrifuge during my undergrad, then took them out and didn’t know which was which 🙄 now I obsessively label everything but it works!

I miss your uploads, Atousa-joon. I am in a totally different professional than you (diplomacy) but at middle age I've enrolled in 2 courses via Oxford. They are much more challenging than I thought they'd be (in a good way) and I use your videos to refine my study skills. Cheers!

Hi ☺️ wondering if you can give me some advice, I have uni offers for biomedical science but also biomolecular science. Not exactly sure how similar/different they are or which offers better job prospects ??
