    I'd say about 15% of the "Send me info" or "Send me an email" actually reply back and we do business. But the rest are gone. Even on a call back, you never get them back.

    When I ask for an e-mail, I want in writing everything we have discussed and agreed upon, from availability, price, warranty - everything. In this way I have proof positive in the event that a saleperson tries to backtrack on anything he/she has said. Bottom line: GET IT IN WRITING!

    @@goodfellas5702 I have been both floor salesman in a big store and a rep on the road, so it's not as though I'm a tyro in these fields. My method has always been to provide the potential buyer with all the information in an engaging, friendly manner. I NEVER tried to pressure them, but would respectfully listen to their points of view, to their objections and reservations about the product(s). The rep does not have as many options as the floor salesperson, as I could show the client other options, more suited to his/her purpose and/or pocket. I ensured that there was not a question that went unanswered and ALWAYS followed up on any promises I made. People referred their friends and family to me, to the point that the head salesperson in the various departments in which I worked would go crying to management that I was "stealing all the customers". The point of any sales video is to show salespeople how to close sales. In this case I'm looking at it from the client's perspective and giving a clue as to the type of content the salesperson SHOULD include in the e-mail to reassure the person concerned.

    Make them feel like they still have control and that there's flexibility. Try responding with something like "Totally get it, why don't we just put something on the calendar, we can always move it if a conflict arises." People don't want to feel trapped so just keep it feeling loose!

    What if you try to close for the appointment after you go thru with gathering their email and sending them the email and they blow you off by saying “I’ll just respond to your email”?

    Ask them for a timeframe that they expect to get back to you so you can check your diary and confirm if you would be available on that particular day to assist them .

    Today is Saturday. From the previous Monday to Thursday I’ve been cold calling over 100 companies It was all voicemail I closed 7 for a meeting that I could find The gatekeeper were difficult and the business owners say send me an email I send over 20 only 2 replied One said we’ll reach out when we need your services and the second we’re not interested right now now. 0 client closed Phew 😅 There’s a lot to do more than handling the objections But what if you really had to send the email, where can I find an example of an email template to send When they ask for it?

    @@SellBetterXYZ Say ‘I don’t know what I should send you’; they will likely say ‘whatever you think is useful’ you can then reply ‘The best way of me knowing what’s useful for you is to show you, can we book in X time at X day?’ and continue from there.
