@FXAirguns I just shot my mk2 for the first time. On the second magazine while zeroing the scope I didn’t realize my pressure was low and the gun made a different sound and started leaking. Further inspection shows air escaping from the end of the barrel and the silver disk below the loading port. Do I need to send it in for repair or is this an issue I can handle with o-ring replacement?

Mine is leaking behind the macro wheel. Brand new M3 comes leaking, any videos on how to fix them rather than just finding them?

Thank you so much for the video. I have a 6 month old impact and is leaking slowly. It won’t take a full charge no matter how long it’s connected to the pump. Do you think it’s in between the fill port and the tank then?

The best is to test all the connections with soapy water or leak spray. This way you can spot exactly where the leak originates from

Hey FXAirguns.. My Impact leaks out all the air in the reg by itself when i screw off the air bottle, (it dont need to be dry fired to empty the leftover air out of the regulator) what is wrong???

I had same problem on my dreamline, it used to loose the entire plenum air pressure… i think that is because when we remove the bottle the regulator isn’t in a good equilibrium statement to work properly(?) anyhow I now use a “huma air “ regulator, so I can now change my bottle without those consequent air loosing problems…

So in other words just get a 5 gallon bucket of leak detector and drop the entire gun in it!

Mine started leaking yesterday but from the rear and only while it’s being cocked, the reg reads normal I think it’s coming from the valve seat?

Same here, halfway through a mag it started leaking. When the lever is back it’s really strong and when closed it’s not as bad but still leaking

Bought a new fx impact from Utah airguns about 4 5 months ago and leaked since day one. Haven't even shot it since. Been sitting in the case. $2000 paperweight.

Mine is on it's way back for the 3rd time. These guns are shit. Over priced and overhyped by youtube celebs.

Thanks for this. This video made me decide to spend $300 on a PCP rather than $2000 because ill be less pissed when it leaks.

Fx Impact MK2 leaking front double seal of power plenum where it enters the grip. 😢 taken it apart 5 times bought the correct size and 90 durometer Oring. Day later Leak down to O psi. I want a refund of whole unit.

@@FXAirguns yes. I'm not positive it leaks. My brother may have shot it a few times. Still need to check with him. Also i will charge it and let it sit for a few days. If it does leak what's the process?

Update. Unscrewed the bottle and left it off to see if the regulator bled dry. It did in about an hour. Then screwed the bottle back on and lost about 80 bar in the bottle in about an hour. Was a really slow leak. Now a bad one

Doe's FX make anything reliable???

@@alingram5541 my 15 yo aa410 and theoben rapids are still holding air....so is my 2yo vulcan.....but my brand new impact is leaking, have yet to shoot a full tin of pellets through it...first week worked fine....second week started as a super slow leak...but now its 30 bars over 8hrs

@@EarthSurferUSA ok so keep drinking the coolaid, this is a premium product that should arrive with no issues....yet the internet is full of people with leaking impacts.....my gun has been to fx, they didnt fix it...just made the leak slower, from 30 bars over 10 hrs, to 20 bars over 48 hrs....every time it has to go back its another 80$ in shipping...and apparently even fx is unable to properly fix the rifle....but by all means spend 2K on the gun, then remember to set aside 200-300 bucks for orings, shipping etc.....thats just wrong

You know for a 2000dl.airgun you would think that all these issues would be taken care of with the manufacturer...what a rip off....I'll stick with my hatsan had it for years use it allthe time no issues yet....

if your rifle is leaking then sell it asap and cut your losses, they are a nightmare when they go wrong.

Common leak areas. The whole damn gun. These things are overpriced garbage. Fx has taught me to be more careful with where I spend money though.4k on a gun and accessories and it spends all of it's time being shipped back and forth for repairs.

The Impact and Crown rifles are not for beginners or someone that is not mechanically inclined and already intimately familiar with the operating principles of a pcp rifle. They are among the finest production air guns available. You don't buy a Lambo or other exotic super car and then complain about the maintenance that is required. That being said, you CAN take an FX out of the box and leave the adjustments alone, and it will shoot just fine.

You are joking right? So many MORE reliable and just as accurate rifles on the market today it's stupid. This is a air rifle and it's a simple concept at the end of the day and complexity is unnecessary for accuracy and only hurts reliability.. Stop drinking the FX Kool-Aid!

ACCEPTING FAILURE! Rather than fix the problem just advise how you can fix them, why buy something that the manufacturer admits is unfit for purpose?
