Commodore 128 Native Game Qix! Yes C128, Not 64! Real 128Dcr Hardware Video Capture, No Jump Cuts!

C128 native games exist! I went old school with this video. No jump cuts, you get the full experience captured from REAL hardware! This runs as shown in 128 mode, 40 column (Vic-II) video mode. As for the game itself, I find the Commodore 128 (and 64) version to be much harder than the arcade or other ports, such as Amiga port.

The Commodore version? Maybe I'm just older and/or out of practice, but the 128/64 version seems much harder than I remember wither the arcade or Amiga versions.

@@redrumloa Yep. I agree with you that the Amiga and arcade versions (which I've only ever played in MAME) seem easier. I don't recall ever playing it in an actual arcade.

Commodore 64 and 128 are mono computers, just one channel. I've thus far kept it authentic on real hardware.

@@redrumloa Y-cable lol. It's what we used back in the day if you had a stereo.And if you hooked up to a stereo TV it did it internally and came out both speakers.

Oh *that* game! I never did play it when it came out. I'll give it a go in the near future. Thanks for reminding me! Good timing with the 128D with desk space for a while!
