Is there Silat in Vietnam? I was trained in a Vietnamese war-oriented martial art that my uncle trained in the Brazilian army, but I can't see the difference in the silat it's all very similar.

Its a regional thing and also yes, there are silat practitioners in Vietnam. They also involved in some international silat competitions.

Bien mais il faudrait une personne qui sait vraiment donner des coups de pied .

the purpouse of every martial art, its the same. Sometimes just change in the method or in the tactic. More or less is the same. Need a solid base as to beginning.. In real life too many factors counts. For sure is better to be a little prepared than not prepared at all. Other fact is: is a soldier ready for a war and to kill, when he never been in a war ? first time is for everybody.
