Dude, you are a Commandos God! I played this on and off since I was 9, when it first came out. And I didn't advance pass the 5th level until around 2006? And I never got past level 18 either. When I 1st managed to pass level 5 it was quicker from there on...but complete halt on 18. Props to you.

same, i was a kid when i first played it and got to lvl 4 lol, then when i went back as an adult i realized you could save after advancing every part i was so dumb as a kid

I remember playing this when it came out in stealth mode for all maps possible without exploiting bugs. Nostalgia of pre-internet era.

@Soda88 whats your favorite commando in this game? except the green beret (its a overall character) my favorite is the Sniper, shots are pinpoint accurate, guatds dont hear it and you can shoot from very far xD

I promised myself to finish this game without walkthroughs. Apparently i disapointed myself :) this video gave me some real interesting hints and another view on gameplay. Nice upload!

@alsh72 i explained it in annotation on top of the screen at the begining; while playing at 1024x768 there seems to be bug with frames, showing only 5 commandos

ahhh back then, when enemies are too stupid to realize, that a mate was stabbed centimeters away from them :D

You must have played a different version of Commandos than mine, because many of your solutions don't work in my version, like for example killing the guards at the portal or sneaking behind the guard into the castle. They either immediately shot at me, called Alarm at the same time or else. Other solutions nevertheless were quite nice and well thoughtout. Anyway...i enjoyed your speedruns, cheers mate!

I don't know which version of the game I have and it's really very tough, some of the strategies don't work at all and 15 years later I still haven't finished this game.

In my game the alarm had been raised every time, you at 3.00 manage not to raise the alarm, i don't know why. When they see me even if i crouch and try to get away as you do, they raise the alarm.

I play it too fast, what can you do that walked normally?

the thing that gets me it you can press the number correspondng to the character and then hit the weapon key you want to use eg. sniper

Can be done with out green barret and spooky in almost 20 minutes. Anyway superb play.

Hoàng Tùng Man, it's on the shooting area of nazi soldiers, if you shoot there, the alarm won't trigger because they'll think they are nazi shoota

@Soda88 I read it later! just a question: "Note: This is played at 100% speed (30fps)" I thought the original frame rate was 25 fps,maybe that's why it takes so long to load a quick save game while using that speed limiter(BEL loader)!
