commandos behind enemy lines mission 14 d-day kick off
this is the GOG version of the game. from memory, i think it plays at a slower pace than the original on windows xp. so it was easier to complete the mission this time as i could react quicker.
on the whole, i complete the mission using "silent kills", ie not setting off alarms, as i don't want to take on more and more enemy soldiers.
also, i mainly only used the commando to show what is possible. i could have used the sniper to take out the soldiers on the top of the naval batteries and made the mission simpler/easier.

For me was the marine, his arpon is cheated. You can shoot them being in the top of the canons.

+kamchowful Yes, some years ago. I was looking for this mission using the ground route.
you played the game very well but u should have choosen the water route . just get ur driver to the armor vehicle. it would have taken just 5 mints

yes i know. i did it this way to show how to "silent kill", ie not set off the alarms, except towards the end when i had to use the tank.

a lot of trial and error. took me hours to learn all the steps. you can do it too, put in the effort. have fun.
Please tell me that some kind of cheat was used here, and the enemies became blind and deaf. So that I don't feel like a noob

How you take the guy on the wall without allerting the two beach patrols?

you mean at 4:48, the soldier by the wall? or at 2:28, the soldier at the top of the hill? whichever one, it comes down to checking the patrols movements and killing the soldier during the gap when both patrols are not watching.
4:45 the wall soldier. Every body see you killing him

no, i kill the soldier when everyone is looking away or at least, their green line-of-sight does not reach where i do the killing. hope i explained it clearly.
I screwed up with save here nearly finishin it and now im stuck and there is no way that im replaying this mission.

Brilliant job... I also tried to finish it without setting the alarm... And it took several attempts to pass this kzread.info/dash/bejne/o6pmy4-oiJvSoLw.html ... And then I got stuck... Then chose the water route .

yes that part is very tricky. it took me many tries to get the timing just right. you need patience and perseverance. anyway, well done on finishing the mission using the other tactic.
