Actually, maybe you should revisit this. There's been quite a bit of new stuff printed in the last 12 months that slots right in here.

I think a cool idea would be to take some of the top performing EDH decks and then try to remake them so they're more fun and enjoyable for all players (you and your opponents)

I’m curious about the infinite combos and whatnot that got left out, because I’m building a Muldrotha and I want it as nasty and competitive as possible. Short of car priced cards. Like, I don’t mind buying Jace the Mortgage Payment but anything passed a little over $100 is a bit too much for me. So far it’s got a lot of ramp and a lot of enters/leaves the battle field stuff, a little Muldrotha defense and a weird idea I had. Use Sorin Markov or Tree of Perdition to kill their life, then Helm of the Host Muldrotha to overwhelm them. Sorry. Got distracted. Yeah, combos please. 🦊❤️

So, some things we left out due to Kevin's "no combo" stipulation include: Deadeye Navigator, since he flickers Muldrotha to let you continuously recast spells like Lotus Petal and potentially make infinite mana. Protean Hulk can go infinite really easily, in Sultai what you can do when it dies is go grab Phyrexian Delver and Viscera Seer, reanimate the Hulk, and sacrifice it one more time to fetch Mikaeus the Unhallowed and Walking Ballista. You can then sacrifice the Ballista and use the Undying counter to ping someone infinite times. There are other ways to go off with Hulk too but that might be the best one. Hermit Druid can combo off and win you the game if you don't have any basics in your deck; once you activate it and mill yourself, you'll hit creatures you can bring back for free and then combo out with Necrotic Ooze's abilities. There's other nasty ways to speed up how fast you can combo, like using Natural Order to instantly fetch your Protean Hulk. Most of them don't really involve Muldrotha specifically, though, since they're so fast and efficient they don't really need specific commanders to work. Hope this helps!

And Jace and Tree are useless in muldrotha. No sense in playing Jace at all. Just because the price is high doesnt mean it's viable

Only Jaces in the deck are flip and memory adept. Nothing too pricey. Also you need a sacrifice outlet to win with Mikaeus and Balista because Mikaeus gives nonhumans +1/+1

It is so interesting to see other people brew decks. My version of Muldrotha goes a bit of a different route, even though I had similar constraints. I went with more revive cards because since you won't always have access to Muldrotha (price, mind-control etc.) Due to similar reasons, I don't value Secrets of the Dead not as high since it can be a dead draw. I also value wood elves over the yavi granger since they can fetch forests not only basics. deck.tk/9Wa65dzJ

i havent noticed this card in any decks except mine, i cant remember its name right now lol but its 2b and you can sac it to gain 2b :) its that creature that has its legs over its head but anyways i was figuring that might be a good single turn use mana ramp if needed. what do you think lol? or with some flipping around it might be able to dish out even more black mana in a turn if you bring it back for free then lightning greaves it

also is there enough cards out there to return graveyard to library if needed? it would really suck to be deep into muldrotha filth and then have your yard exiled lol

If you guys are going to share a mic you might want to get your faces closer to it. Audio levels are quite different between the two speakers making this difficult to listen to at a reasonable volume.

Yeah that’s a Blue Yeti. They can share that mic but they need to sit across from each other face to face. Might be worth getting another mic.
