Every commander video I post will always have at least some tip in it that is helpful. I imagine I’ll have repeat tips sometime.

This dude is seriously a boss at commander. I played commander twice when I was asked prior to finding his videos... I had no idea what I was doing being an armor player. After watching a commander tutorial and 4-5 of his videos, I won 13 games before my first loss. Even now half a year later, I'll learn something from every video he makes. Whether it's improved map knowledge or different game sounds (like the airhead in this video), his videos always have something to offer even veteran players.

Im still a new player, but when I got the game I watched a bunch of peoples HLL guides. Everyone has different tips on commander, and it seems that yours are the most in depth. I normally play SL, but we didn’t have a commander one match so I said fuck it, I’ll give it a shot. Yours and other guys videos for sure helped me out to not seem like a total noob at commander. Also had a decent team which helped out a bunch as commander. I will say that I’m not big on commander. Not because of the stress or pressure that’s on you, or the constant barking going on in command chat. I just prefer to be in the thick of the action. I’ll stick to SL, but I’ll still take the tips in case I need to jump on commander when no one else will

Hey man, glad I could help. You may appreciate commander more after playing the game more. I prefer commander because things run a lot more smoothly when someone does commander that knows what to do. XD

Amazing content! I tried some of your tactics myself, some experienced SLs started to argue with, but I sticked to the plan and won. Thanks to you I am enjoying the commander role again.

Thank you. And you will have to argue with SLs sometime, lol. If you know what you are doing, stick to your guns. It's interesting when level 50s try to tell me what to do, but that is very rare. Example: Do not call in strafe/bombing runs/supply drops for every request, it is up to you to determine if it is necessary. Such as dropping supplies that have a 90% chance to be destroyed is a waste.

I have been playing game for a long time and there’s still so much I don’t know. Great video!

There is a lot of little details that have no explanation. It’s quite odd. Also surprising not many people have pointed this stuff out on youtube. I sometimes even notice youtubers saying wrong information.

No problem. Yeah L9 is pretty good, active admins, vote system for the next map (although I'm not sure it always works).

Think I said this in another comment, but when the task is important enough or game changing I always use player names over Alpha/Baker/Charlie. It helps convey the importance when you give a person a job to do.

Commander is just a whole other kettle of fish than even squad lead. Look at map, make plans, use abilities, build garrisons, drive supply trucks. I try to stay out of combat entirely as getting killed means I can't use abilities. As squad lead, it's more like, try to convince your guys to play support, get one, he drops supplies 50 ft from where the commander just ordered supplies... or he won't and then you have to scour for supplies without garrisons to build any... I honestly love every role in this game except tank commander and sniper, athough I'm not a great spotter either. So far I've only done 3 games start to finish and I will say I was carried by awesome squad leads each time, but I listened to them instead of trying to force bad plans onto them.

Offensive in my opinion is a terrible mode. Rules are not intuitive. Defending team have huge advantage. And when I see Utah or Omaha I leave ASAP. Still your vids are gold and your knowledge is admirable. Keep'em comin'!

Love your videos, keep em coming. One question on your hardware: What's the reason for using 64GB of Ram? For video editing purposes or ingame performance?

Video editing. If I have a lot going on, the ram use can spike over 32GB. HLL works fine at 16GB. I think it works better at 32GB because it is not optimized. I think if you have a lot of other things going on your computer and you play HLL, it can spike over 16GB sometimes.
