Second jump on the camera angle change is the key. 1 notch or 2 on the compass doesn't seem to matter.

the main problem people seem to have is the timing of the jump, make sure you double jump when the camera goes top down and start swinging immediately after

Works as of 6/17! Cheers! Took me a bunch of tries - once I got it but stopped swinging and pressing forward might help too so I never got to the environment deload point - finally lined it up, timed the double jump on camera top down and stopped panic clicking the attack button. I wasn’t able to access the map screen, so I had to go back to retrieve the runes

are you aiming for the notch to the right of North on the compass? if so and you got the angle right, then you're problem is doing the double jump too quickly or too late, make sure directly after the screen goes time down you double jump, I don't know if this is helpful or not but please le me know if still can't get it

thanks, I though it was funny as well 😂, his minnions are super annoying, when I first played I just walked in and summoned tiche or mimic tear and used rotten breath to inflict rot on Nial and the minnions end up dying in the process as well

yeah i had that problem too, im pretty sure i explained in the video but if i didnt, the timing of the double jump is most important, you have to do the double jump to moment the camera goes top down

make sure your angled at the dash to the right of North on the compass, dash on torrent and run to the edge then jump off, double jump as soon as the screen goes top down, then just start attacking the entire way down while holding forward for a little while. I hope this helps

that seems to be the part most people mess up on, make sure your on the notch to the right of North on the compass, then double jump as the screen goes top down, if the compass trick doesn't work for you you can look at the rock at the bottom and aim for the right of it, I hope this helps if it doesn't please let me know

I too mess up sometimes, if I usually have the angle and jump right the reason for messing up was attacking, you have to attack constantly on the way down, and you have to keep torrent almost perfectly straight up until you get the double jump, if your a bit too far to the left or right you'll die instead.

doesnt work after you have already fought the boss

oh that's pretty cool, I usually just walked in and summoned mimic tear then used rotten breath, it usually got rid of the 2 knights and rotted him. after that it's just about dodging and doing damage here and there 🤣

sorry my response is late, Im going to assume the part your getting wrong is the jump, since for the angle all you have to do is be one notch to the right if North on the compass, at the edge of the cliff is when you want to make your first jump, then when the screen goes top down make your second jump, after that swing the whole way down.

i went through the five stages of grief while doing this so let me help anyone who might be hung up on the same issues i was * you have to dash three times to get the perfect jump, and if you hug the rock on the left of the path, that’ll help you stay perfectly straight on the path until you jump. might be different for some others but this is what helped me. * if you’re playing on console, don’t use the trigger swing, use the bumper swing. this might be a duh moment but i was instinctually using heavy swing and you won’t swing in time for the glitch. all in all, thank you so much man, i was close to giving up on this i was trying for an HOUR and it was just stupid mistakes i was making, but thank you so much. i killed varre at the beginning so i had to progress this way to get up to the consecrated snowfield for my dlc build and this was the major obstacle in my path. you’re a life saver
