Commander Keen 4 - Secret of the Oracle: Well of Wishes (1991) [MS-DOS]

The 4th episode of the commander keen games is called Secret of the Oracle. It belongs to the second keen serie "Goodbye Galaxy!". This serie includes also another keen game, The Armageddon Machine, which is not shareware. Secret of the Oracle is shareware and can be downloaded from the downloads page. This game is actually worth to download since it has better gameplay and graphics than the other old versions.
Billy has been working on a new invention in this episode. His latest invention is the Photachyon Tranceiver, a radio that can reviece signals from anywhere in the galaxy. After playing around with his new invention, he suddenly hears a strange message: "brrzzz ... giggg ... oment of great triumph ... frzzt ... ast the Milky Way will be ... huzzzzz ... terly destroyed ... pyuneeeeeeg ... can stop us now. We will remake the galaxy in the name of the Gannalech. Power to our race! power to the Shikadi!" After zapping his parents, Billy heads to The Oracle of Gnosticus IV, who will help Billy with his mission.
But after arriving on Gnosticus IV he discovers that the Shikadi have already been there. The Shikadi seems to have kidnapped all the members of the council, and taken them all to the shadow lands in the west side of the planet. Sounds like a interesting mission for commander keen.

That sounds like an allusion to something?
So... The dumbest creature ever is the one that thinks that if you can't see it, it can't see you. The second dumbest is the Dopefish, whose only thought process is "Swim swim hungry swim swim hungry" ...the third dumbest creature has to be those green fish that keep swimming next to you despite being obvious you're using them as Dopefish bait.
I didn't noticed that I can swim faster. I couldn't beat the final stage of the level where I face with 2 dope fishes. The last one always eats me. After your video I tried to swim faster and completed the level easily. SOOOO DOOOPE!

You can swim faster?? I beated it on hard without knowing this and it was a nightmare! How do you do it?
For me this was the hardest level in the game.

00:58 can anyone get the two sodas at the beginning half the way down under the red balloon (or bubble gum or whatever)? i am not able to without cheating and thought i'm quite too stupid but every gameplay on youtube doesn't collect them either.

How did you get past the dump Fish at 3:33 ? In my game he will not leave that passage no matter what I do.

Ok thank you. I just learned from a nother video that you can pass through the dump Fish while he is Farting. Thanks for the info.

@@ghoulsarefree I'm coincidentally posting a video of this level tomorrow on KZread (with CGA graphics). Yeah, when he's eating a small fish or farting you can pass him quickly. Sometimes he can block your way through and you might have to start over.
