I have hated Fox ever since he shot at Ahsoka with normal blaster bolts instead of switching to stun. And then he basically executed Fives in cold blood when he could've just used a stun shot. Thankfully Vader chokes him and throws him off a gunship in the comics so he got what he deserved. But yeah, definitely hate him for killing Fives, even if he is a very iconic clone with really cool design.

He picked up the blaster to defend himself from the shock troopers, he had no intent to kill rex or Anakin, he just wanted to tell the truth. Plus he was drugged and disoriented, which led to that decision. And if you actually watch the scene again, none of the shock troopers opened fire, it was literally just Fox.

Cad Bane is my fav Character in SW. Love the lesser known fact he was trained by J. Fett and he trained B. Fett. So because of his knowledge of Jango and how Jango fought, Cad used that knowledge to help teach Boba

Of the clones, Fox is the worst, but he is not that bad.

I actually liked Fox a lot, he was one of my top favorites, but when he killed fives it dropped for me a little bit, but I still like him. I probably like his armor more then anything though.

I actually like Commander Fox, yes he killed Fives, but he had direct orders from the chancellor to do so. And when he was trying to arrest Ahsoka, as far as he knew she had killed several of his men and a prisoner! Plus I believe in comic books he was also constantly stressed, getting little to no sleep. Also he looks so cool!

I have always liked Commander Fox however, I do understand why people dislike him. If I’m being honest is fives ended up shooting Fox then his men would have gunned down fives regardless. Fox did warn him 4-6 times to not reach for the gun and to put it down. However, fives did not so he shot him, at the end of the day he was following the orders he was given. Which were if capture wasn’t possible eliminate him and he could not disobey those orders. I do like Fox as a Commander however I also understood that he was doing his job. And he did not want to kill him but was left with no choice. And still some people don’t realize that and others do. That is my opinion on Fox and the whole him shooting fives and receiving hate for it. Also, great video today, can’t wait for the next one.

He did not got to see action only in the series . He could have got more kills and he killed fives because he did not have a option only if he waited then they would have killed cap rex and you don't know a soldiers life and ashoka ran so clearly she could just surrendered but she did not so he used stun shoots and in fives he could have used fives everyone tells but here he used stun no body supports him

I am never going to not despise him from what he did to fives because I was not allowed to watch season 6 until I was 11 and seeing what he did makes me hate him

Daley, when I was middle-school aged, I really disliked Commander Fox. However, now that I have grown older, and that one of my two desire careers is law enforcement, I don't hold anything against him. On one hand, he was the leader of the Republic's military police, so that itself is simply a small correlation with me , but I know from discussions with police officers and from watching hours and hours of body camera footage that things like that are necessary. Given the context he had, Fox had no way of knowing whether Fives intended to be a threat, but he knew that at least on a physical level, holding that blaster pistol made him a threat to Fox and his men. Additionally, Fives had set a trap for Anakin and Rex, so Commander Fox had no way to know if Fives had set other traps that might catch or kill Fox and/or his men. The only way for Fox in that scenario and for police officers in real life to ensure the safety of everyone in the area is to definitively eliminate the threat, and to do so as quickly as possible. It was essentially the same ordeal with Ahsoka. Obviously, we, as observers to the story, know it was wrong, but Fox couldn't have known that given what he knew...or thought that he knew.
