Which is ironic you say that about Chris since he resolved his Apex Devastator incorrectly. It even says on the card you resolve each instance of cascade separately. Casting Rishkar's off top and resolving it first, as is supposed to happen, would've drastically changed how the next cascade effects would resolve.

21:06 "Yeah, what villain has ever stroked a fluffy pet before?" Spencer seems the usually quiet friend whose bulls-eye observational humor leaves the group in stitches.

Kibler is the living "I'm in danger" meme this entire game. My dude, blink twice if you're telling these stories as a defense mechanism.

As someone who retells all my stories to my friends in front of my spouse Olivia's reaction gave me a "this is what I've been doing?" Moment which prompted me to get a package of cookies for them. Spencer's "My crimes are as of yet unknown" may have been the underrated comment of the evening. I love the setting, and the atmosphere thank you for inviting us into your home.

Loved Chris attitude at the table, complimenting people for their turns and plays, makes me think that I should do that more often in order to bring a lighter mood at my own table !

Yes, in retrospect, I should have cast the World Breaker I returned to my hand on that last turn of mine. A reach blocker would have been very good against the Elspeth-jumping Tireless Tracker. Considering how much of the time I was monopolizing with green-deck game actions, though, I was trying to play at a fast clip rather than going for optimal play. For how complicated all that stuff got, I at least did a decent job of THAT. I'll get you next time, Gadget!

I'm waiting for Brian to forget he's holding dogs instead of cards and start hand-shuffling Elspeth and Oko. Great game even if Spencer's lack of sleeves gave me anxiety. He's truly hilarious!

Me previously: There's such a glut of commander content. There's no room for another commander gameplay channel. Me watching this: Man, I wish we had more of this awesome commander gameplay content!

Hearing Spencer's voice again brought all the awesome memories of Harmonquest flooding back. Loved that show.

I love to see Brian in a casual format like this, I remember watching him all the time on PT and loved it. He was my favorite to watch. This is probably my favorite thing right now.

Got to meet both Brian and Olivia at MagicCon Philadelphia. They were both incredibly friendly people for our brief interactions and posed for photos and signed cards for me. I’m really happy I was able to meet them.

I've been dealing with health issues and am super duper stressed out. this brought some much, much needed smiles.

Brian is so proud of his accomplishments and I absolutely love that. It gives him so much joy to share and it doesn’t at all seem like he’s flexing. Just a happy guy who just seems like he can’t believe all the stuff he has done or gets to do. Can’t wait to watch more!

You can choose the same permanent multiple times with Druid of Purification, so Olivia could have chosen one of the already chosen ones, and then after all choices are made the effect resolves and all chosen permanents are destroyed.

yeah the permanents are chosen before anything is destroyed, and nothing forces them to choose different permanents.

I'm getting into the idea that Brian will slowly turn into an villain in this series. And all will come to an end when he finds a card in his deck that he hasn't played before.

This is even more wholesome than "I hate your deck" and I love it soooo much. This is just fricking fun too see people playing Magic like I used to in my game-store.

More commander at home with the glorious wholesome energy! Happy to see more episodes of this, keep up the amazing show! Really love how each episode so far has it's own character and energy and tabletop vibes depending on the guests it really shows how diverse the commander community is!~ More Shiro energy we have been blessed by doggo beans.

4 minutes into the game and all I can think is “god I wish all commander shows (Series? Channels?) were like this!” But that would ruin the magic that Olivia and Brian have been able to capture. This is my new favorite thing and look forward to every new episode. Never change.

I don't watch the show it happened on anymore, but Olivia's "Arma-fucking-geddon?! Who are you?!" moment in the episode with Brian and Younger-Blonder-Brian remains one of the best commander show moments I've seen. Literally everyone hated Brian in that moment.

I was super stoked to see Spencer. I knew he played magic. Good to see him play.

I've never been so excited for the fourth video on a channel before. Also the intro is such a perfect example of what magic with your friends should be.

This show is quickly becoming my favorite edh content. The whole match was super fun to see and I laughed the whole time. When Brian explained what his deck was I immediately thought of the game where he played armageddon and passed the turn. I laughed so hard at that situation and Olivia's response, and was a fan of them both from then on. Super happy to hear the call back to that match at the end of this one. The pain is still with Olivia 😂 Keep up the fantastic work, I really look forward to each episode!

I totally love Brian's little stories along with the cards and the fact that he actually likes to share them. Most MTG pros I know are so introverted or cocky and you have to pull everything out of their nose, but not so with Brian. So plx go easy on him talking a lot Olivia, because it's actually an incredible cool trait of him and really cool content for long time fans. Love y'all and happy gaming! :)

Finally the 3rd episode! Great content, chemistry of hosts and guests and stories. Thank you so much for all the laughter and entertainment! Already can't wait for the 4th episode. Well i guess i have to watch the other episodes once again or more likely 4-5times again to tide me over the waiting times^^

Also this is my new favorite show to watch!!! It feels just like I’m playing with my friends at home, all the shenanigans, all the crap talk and laughs! Love it!

That was another fun episode! I loved all the eye-rolling and reactions to the ongoing bit of Kibler's pro-tour exploits. It's always great seeing all the chemistry between the guests/hosts you have on the show!

The more I get to see Kibler play, the more I love watching him play with all the laughter and fun - what a great power couple! Great fun and awesome games, maybe one day Olivia will let you tell the cool stories from times of lost past lol

I love Brian's stories, he has so many and while they aggravate Olivia to no end, I also giggle and laugh like Brian because it's so hilarious.

The cascades from the apex was done wrong... Each cascade casts the card and resolves it before moving to the next cascade.

I've come to expect cascade to be done wrong at this point. I've yet to see a MTG youtube channel handle more than one cascade trigger correctly.

As always a fantastic show, it really feels like we the audience are invited in for a fun banter filled commander game. Great job as usual!

The production quality of the intro (and this show) never ceases to amaze me. It encompasses everything I think of when I think of "The Gathering." Love it.

I don't want to be that guy, but when resolving apex devastator you have to resolve each cascade independently of one another. Rishkar's expertise should in fact have been the the first spell to resolve on a board with much smaller creatures at that point, also affecting what the rest of the cascades would have hit.

They're random cards in a random order anyway - weirdly the way we did it is how I've always seen Devastator resolved, so I guess I've always seen it done wrong.

I could listen to Brian talk about his magic history all day. I have so many questions and would love to know more about his career. Love it. Favorite magic pro of all time.

Great game, a fair bit of back and forth while Chris made it very viewer friendly when he was popping off (quick yet clear). Amazing banter, think both the guests were great and I especially loved Spencers mellow fun style, he added a ton to the atmosphere/feel of the game without taking up much space which is a very impressive 'skill'/personality.

I looked away for two minutes and came back to this man who rebuilt his board after the third board wipe with no issue. Insane deck!

The guests are AWESOME! I unfortunately did not know them from other internet things but I’d love to see them again, please! Also, maybe we get an extra video where Brian just talks about all the cards in his PT deck? We can hear cool stories and Brian can maintain his friendships

Thanks for another great video you guys, absolutely love the atmosphere of this Channel and Olivia's energy is just undisputably delightful. But I did notice a misplay: When Chris played the Apex Devastator he didn't resolve it correctly - Each instance of cascade triggers and resolves separately. The spell you cast due to the first cascade ability will go on the stack on top of the second, third, and fourth cascade abilities. That spell will resolve before you exile cards for the second cascade ability. The spell you cast for the second will resolve before you exile cards for the third, and so on - so he would have drawn the spells he cascaded with the first cascade; Rishkar's Expertise, instead of cascading them.

I appreciate y'all kept in some of the pre-game discussion with the Gilanra player (I didn't remember his name I'm sorry Spencer or Chris) deciding to cut his second commander for the table's power level. I think there being more examples of the sorts of discussions and things people do to tone their EDH decks for tables would be good!

I feel you Olivia on personal level. My boyfriend (I live with him for 6 years already) is teacher and comedian and he tells jokes and stories all the time we meet someone, but there is only limited amount of them and some of them I can repeat with the same accent and tone of voice because he is cycling (for 2 mana) them, it will probably never end.... But the game was super fun to watch and the production is amazing :)

This channel is awesome. The banter is hilarious and it's so casual. With this and Elder Dragon Hijinks, I am a happy viewer. EDH with friends is the best. Olivia and Brian are hilarious and sweet together. You guys have had awesome guests every episode. My mini poodle Molyloves sitting my (or my wife's) arms when we play. Dogs are the best.

Love the series so far. One thing I would request: I am not super familiar with Magic past the era of “Swamp, Dark Ritual, Hypnotic Spectre” so a little 30 second introduction to what each deck does and why the person likes it would be neat :)

I really enjoy this show! Very good production value, but still keeps that casual friendly vibe without going too off topic and Kibler and Olivia are excellent hosts!! As much as I like shows like Game Knights, I feel like some of their games get a little too high powered at times with them throwing around extremely expensive cards.

I love the pups being in the episodes. It's the thing that commander content was missing. Please keep bringing all the pups, and maybe consider a "pups playing commander" episode 😉

I'm just saying, Brian was 100% in the right with his Tragic Arrogance. Both in his assessment of the card being underplayed and with the fact it was needed.
