the mlb baseball team is such a no brainer, Orlando is an international city so time to ack like it, plus is a free promo of baseball to ppl all over the word

I stayed on idrive when I went to Orlando and I enjoyed it so much. Me and my family felt safe the whole time we was there. We had the best meal ever at Longhorns. I would definitely stay there again.

How is is that place looking?!?

My 2nd is the amount of structure that was already built and left abandoned. I appreciate you're positivity for the growth but it's so dead right now no one is coming back for yrs. We need to focus on what will keep the locals satisfied enough to stay. And for that, I'm happy. The crime is lower than the media projects it to br and the average human here seems happy. Thanks for the specs Ken! Keep it up!

Love I-Drive and that whole area. Excited to watch it change and grow over the next 5 years. There are some older sections that could use some love. Thanks for taking us along on the trip and showing us what is coming. Future video idea....any thoughts on Sunrail's announced expansion to Deland and rumors of Haines City getting a stop. Also when will they finally get the east-west corridor open from I-drive to MCO?

It will definitely grow and change and will take about 3 years max for most of it to be launched. Already on it's way.

I'll tell you Ken, the stretch of Universal Campus in different campuses stretched all across the Orlando area is so different from Disney I as a Disney diehard am excited to see what is to come. My 2 red flags, the lack of full inferstructure! There are not enough roads for just the locals let alone the amount of tourists.

I have noticed, travelling from the Uk since the early 90s. The old Wet ‘n’ Wild area, has really gone down hill and around carrier drive doesn’t feel safe on a night time. Up near icon park seems a bit better but again lots of strange folk about. Still love the place, just feels a bit run in certain areas which is a shame.

Las Vegas just built the Sphere. I drive needs a BIG idea,something great.Not another ferris wheel.

Baseball in FL is just not great. It’s the rainy season in the summer when baseball is played and the game would be stopped and delayed constantly and covered stadiums are mid.

If they move my Tampa Bay Rays to Orlando, I will sell my home in Tampa and Move Back to Orlando , that area is right by hunters creek/ south chase and that is where I will Go.

Your statement about the county building a baseball stadium and convention center expansion are misleading. There is one man and a small crew of people with him that are trying to make this happen, however the mayor has not said whether or not he is going to support it, and I bet if you were to poll the majority of Central Floridians if they want $1 billion of TDT revenues to be used on an MLB stadium they would say no. There is certainly no guarantee that its going to be built. Same goes for the convention center expansion which Demings has already turned down once and has given no indication he is going to support now.

The rays need to built there new staduim in Tampa and leave St. Petersburg. Tampa has history and culture not sure if Orlando offers that

So all this new development on Idrive despite the fact that the county has put Orlando's homeless population in the hotels rooms that are not being rented out? They have already started pitching tents to stay on iDrive when they can't get a hotel voucher because it's a great location to panhandle. I can't remember the last time I went to Idrive and wasn't approached at stop lights for money and then approached again on my way from the car to the activity/restaurant. My advice to tourists is to completely avoid iDrive.

I live in Orlando, I'm 10 minutes away from I drive, what that hell are you talking about? I've never seen panhandlers on international drive. So, you came here once and saw a panhandler and now you think that's the norm? you're funny! 😂 I drive is prime real estate.

I live on iDrive and THE TOURIST ARE NOT HERE ( NATIONWIDE TRAVEL BAN).. Universal and Disney have been empty since April.. Layoffs will be coming soon .. our rent keeps going up. Wages going down.. It will take a decade for Orlando to recover .. VEGAS is nothing like this place... Orlando only focuses on your color and sexualality ...Thanks Desantis

WHAT!? 😂 I WORK FOR LYFT AND I CAN TELL YOU YOU'RE BOLD FACE LYING! I drive tourist everyday to the international area and Disney areas. Non stop business.. hey if it's that bad for you it's not hard to just move. Desantis kept small businesses open and that's why we're as strong as we are and places like NY and cali are falling apart! Maybe you should move too any of those two.

@Disney Fan yuck. Are you serious? He had no clue that that ride couldn't withhold his size. It was clearly a moment of mismanagement and for this to even be a topic of discussion is unnecessary. Something terrible happened to a minor that should never be spoken of again unless it has something to do with safety.
