COMING OUT

Can we give your favourite dirtbag 200 likes and lets get the whole world ready to come out.
So its been about a year and half since i came out and i wanted to make a video where i gave a little back, i get tons of message each week asking the same question how do i come out and i thought giving you guys some advice might help.
Im going to be honest it took me about 15 tries to film this video as i wanted to make the advice honest not everyone's coming out story is as easy as others so the advice i give is not what everyone can use depending on their circumstances.

I have noticed that when people come out, not only do they change their lives but also give permission to others to have the confidence to come out as well.

I came out in 8th grade to very positive reviews from my family and friends, and a little bit of negativity from others. I remember being bullied, but most of was just slang terms and insults that, now, don't really bother me. All in all though, I think that I got very lucky with my experience coming out, especially since I lived in a small bible belt in texas.

He came out at school and here on you tube and gets a lot of hate and is bullied a lot. It would be great if people could go show him some support and let him know there's lots of good people out there. He puts a lot of effort into his videos, his channel is MakeupGeekKian1.

I've watched a few coming out videos and I've come out myself to many friends, so I think I'm ready, but every time I try to tell my parents I just can't, don't really know why. Hopefully I'll find the way soon because mate, It's so tiring pretending to be someone you're not in front of the whole family... :( Thanks for another great video and for just being awesome in general! No problem I know how you feel coming out gay or bi or anything like that can be hard but I think it's a lot harder to come out when your a guy then a girl reason being its more socially accepted it's strange that way but it takes time don't rush do it when ur ready for the repercussions

So please listen to this person who i would love to come out as he has done and listen to him because his words are true ewell done Courtney

I came out "completely" in July of 2015, I first told 3 of my closest friends first. For me, people already had the idea I was gay. After I told my 3 best friends, I came out to my dad. I had tried a couple times before but completely froze and quickly made something up. But i finally told myself that that one moment of fear to endure will be worth a lifetime of getting to be myself. I told him and his response was "I know... And I love you". Later that day I came out on Instagram and I got nothing but love and support. Today I live my life, go to high school, have amazing friends, and have nothing to hide now. Of course there are those very few who hate you because of who you are, but remember, you are not going to see them after high school. Trust me, I understand the fear, but to all of you who are scared to come out, remember nobody but you will live your life. I hope I help someone with this :) Bye!

I´m a Swedish girl (18 this year) and I´m bi, I´ve come out to all my friend and they are ok with it but after a half a year that I came out to the first friend I could not keep a secret from my mom any more so I started to cry and she came up to my room and just like you I could not say any thing, I just cried. After about 5 min I just said it and she was really shocked and did not say much then I asked her not to tell my dad and she said ok. Now it´s a half a year after that and we have only texted about it or talked about that 1 time and then I said that I wanted to tell my dad but I was scared and then she told me that he already knew, So she hade told him. But the rest of my dad family is really homophobic and all that and I am really close to them now but now I don´t even want to meet them ´Cause every time we start to argue about LGBTQ+ even tho they don´t even know and now I don´t know what to do ´Cause if I stay close to them I´m gonna be so sad when I come out to them and they would not accept me. Please help.

I'm bisexual but no one knows, I don't know how I can tell my family members or friends.. My family it's very religious and we don't have any LGBT member that we know bout it. One of my uncle back in Mexico was kill for being gay and my aunt and uncle's are constantly reminding us bout the story. Even though we are living in the USA I still get scared if my family finds out about my sexuality and reject me. I don't know how I can tell them about my sexuality.

Hi :) So my big insecurity about coming out is that saying "I'm gay/a lesbian" is basically saying "I want to sleep with men/women". That is uncomfortable to say because whose business is it who I want to sleep with, right? So that is why I haven't really been coming out... because why officially state who you want to have sex with? If anyone could maybe give me some insight to this I'd really appreciate it because I'd like to come out... I'd just have to see the point a little better :D Thanks in advance! Loved the video!

Since he mentioned asexuality: I'm asexual. It's real. It's valid. You're not broken, you're not a prude, it's not a matter of not finding the right one yet. Some of us don't feel sexual attraction, and that's okay. I like girls romantically and still plan on getting married and have kids in the future. We can live happy lives with lots of love in them. We are here, we are ace, and it's okay.

I'm 76 years old and I was openly gay from the year go! I didn't broadcast the fact that I preferred guys. Remember, at that time, you got up to 3 years in prison for it. I was not effeminate and I did not have sex all over the place. It was simply understood that I liked men and people in my circle of friends and family just moved on - so what!. No one really seemed to be bothered. So, I've never had a problem with the thing. By the way, I have lived in countries under strict Sharia law for ten years, so I know how difficult it might be for some.

I am 16 years old. My closest friends are accepting of my sexuality but I haven't come out to my parents. My mom views it wrong to be anything other than straight because of her religion. My dad believes that the lgbt+ community don't deserve the right to get married.

+Victoria Cortez well i see your dilemma asking them how would they feel if one of their children was gay in general parent can do surprising things out of love as i said my dad is homophobic he thinks it wrong but he hasn't disowned me because then he wouldn't see me it all depends whether your happy with your life. I dont know if your British or american but college is a good place to come out if you live there you wouldn't have to worry about your parents i know it can be very difficult to approach the subject but as i say you have to do what makes you happy also you are 16 not 18 you are still classed as a minor so as for things such as throwing you out they can by law and if there were significant problems the government would step in with things like therapy and counselling for your parents, but as i said parents and people can do crazy things when its comes to love hoped this helped.

+Courtney-Jai My brother came out as Bi, after he had had a few (dozen) glasses of JD and Coke. And he came out to my parents, then came out to me... and was astonished to realise I already had known for about two years. Because he had his friend over one night and they were watching a DVD, apparently forgetting I was in the room, and he blurted it out to his friend during the film. The fact that I had known for two years without saying shocked him, but it's not my business to bring up!

I told my friends first and they were supportive, one friend was weird bout it, and to this day say somthing thst i will bite on. Then I told my dad wsy doen the line and he took it well to be fair. my sister already knew cos I had told her before anyone, me abd my younger brother dont talk bout it. But telling my mum tho that was a different story. so I told her and the look on her face was confusion and she said to me, your not gay no no your not, and I said to her yes I am I was nervous at that time and I left it at that. then I came out to family members and they were like. As long as your happy then we don't hav a problem with it, then me my sister and mum were chatting one day and my sister said something bout me being gay. And the look on me mum's face again said it all, she said to me oh your not gay no your not, your just being arkward. Now that hurt a little I mean she had seen me wiv a lad since I came out to her. But to this day she still says I'm arkward, anyway I don't talk bout that stuff wiv her anymore cos we might hav an argument and I really don't want that ya know. But apart from that everything is good so far.

+Adam Evans well it sounds as though your sister and dad support you maybe you should have a sit down with all of them and explain yourself it can be hard but if you explain how you feel now from before she can see how it makes you happy sometimes the difference can be very important
