Great review! And I agree, the Comica sounded just a little better than the DJI (with exception of breaking up outside out of range) I needed something for beekeeping videos in hopes that it won't pick up the bees and wind noise quite as much. I'm hoping this will do the trick.

With the new firmware update on the dji you can change if the led’s light up or not. That’s been my only complaint on them before that update

Ya I installed the update but never really changed those settings yet. I need to set them to auto record when I pull them out too

Decent review but you need to show the CUs... I agree that the Comca sounds brighter which is important if you hide the mics... you need some lightung tweaks...

Thank you! Comparison tests are so helpful! Comica sounds great. Forgive me, but like all mic reviewers you do it the wrong way around. The most important thing is the sound quality so do that first. The bells and whistles of what's in the box and how it works is secondary.

What is your opinion on using the Comica for weddings? Considering the distance from the back of a church to the front?

No I wouldn’t trust it further than 40ft plus no internal recording…..check out my video I am posting tomorrow. That wireless will be perfect and in same price range (plus has internal recording)

I was using the comica with my iphone in a gym and it got my voice and well as EVERYONE around me. so is this due to this iPhone? I’m just about ready to go get another mic because of this

Did you turn on Noise Cancelation? You should also just verify you are not hearing your phones microphone by tapping on the comic mic at the start and making sure it clearly pops and is not your phones mic. It will pickup some background noise, but shouldnt be crazy.

@@PaulFeinberg I had a 90 degree lightning to TRRS adapter attached to TRS -TRS cables leading into the receiver. 🤦🏿♂️ The iPhone was using its internal mic this whole time. For some reason I thought the 90 degree adapter was a TRRS. I just changed change to a TRRS to TRS cable and it’s working perfectly! 😅 Thanks!

@@PaulFeinberg hi sir, do you know of any other mic that has built in recording other than DJI or Rode, that are less expensive? i want to try and give a work around for those that want to record xbox remote play plus commentary on their iphone but seems i can only do that with my DJI's built in recording, just kinda wanted to give them a cheaper alternative

Terrible comparison. Didn’t even test the DJI range. This doesn’t help me decide between the two.

Sorry you feel that way. I hate range tests for these now. They all drop out around the same distance without direct line of sight. I like the DJI better for internal storage and both systems sound good. If you don’t need internal storage the comica will be fine, if you need internal storage and want to have that guarantee you don’t have drop outs get the DJI.
