Nice to see someone just buying stuff they like! I collect all kinds of off the wall stuff, and I sell nothing, but the hobby makes me happy, and thats what matters (regardless of how sad the wallet gets or mad the wife gets lol)

Lol this is why I shop in the $1 bins and don’t own any graded books yet. I can afford to do so but I have a very fickle relationship to comics that is on and off so I don’t feel that bad if most of my comic books were purchased between $1-$5.

I too was very impressed with his Fantastic Four issues.Some beautiful covers with just a little Silver Age to season the collection. And the seller is a pretty decent but remarkable artist himself with a strong sense of colour, knowing which shades go well together to accentuate the illustrations. What a score...marvel DC and indie...congratulations 🎊

I’m new to collecting but for me that G.I. Joe #21 Newsstand is the best book in that box.

Me personally the only thing that peaked my interest was the fantastic fours. I just don't deal in the modern stuff, but to each their own.

Some beautiful covers with just a little Silver Age to season the collection. And the seller is a pretty decent artist himself with a strong sense of colour, knowing which shades go well together to accentuate the illustrations.

Only just recently discovered this channel as IV started to now start collecting myself like on a serious note I used to just grab a few which I liked etc and now keys and such are being added to my collection and IV been bonging this channels videos the past few days and I love it 😊❤️

Did the guy even have full runs? or was he an actuall 'collector' as in not reading? seems a lot on this channel is collecting, only for covers, titles be damned, if it has a nice cover i'll grab it. Not bothered reading the story. i can't even think of getting books for covers, when i see a book with a great cover, but i don't read the title, or am interested in the character, i won't give it a second thought. collecting for covers makes no sense, the only thing you are left with is holes in a collection, a collection of nothingness.

Yeah I hate to be the bad guy again, but this is not a real collection. These are random modern comics, most of which will end up in the 1 dollar bin before you know it. Exception on the FF comics, they will keep value. If you paid half of what he thought it was worth you paid way to much. As JJ Jameson would say "Crap, crap, ...more crap" But then you like the Skottie Young art (sigh) so you probably paid too much. Don't buy that crap, in a few years it's all worth nothing. You will be bankrupt before you know it. Thank God Sarah is making money with her job...

@@TheComicsDen I'd say, "Keep doin' what you're doin', man, especially if you love it." I've seen a few of your videos. You seem to know what you're doing. I'm not a serious collector. I buy modern DC variants as long as they're below $10. Why? Because I love them. That's good enough for me.
