I like how he collects both old and modern. Usually guys his age only collect old ones. That lets me know he actually has a love for comics.

How would only having older stuff mean he doesn’t like or respect comics? 🤔 that’s what your implying with this statement
@Ghostin93

@@jimmyhayes6017 No, but usually you'll find that people who only collect older comics really don't care about comics but it's strictly an investment. Yes, that was a bit of stereotype but you'll find that there is a little truth to it. And yes I own Daredevil 1, Hulk 181, ASM 129, FF52, etc but I also own a bunch of moderns that will probably never be worth anything but I love the characters and story lol

@@dearestbrotherfrank tell me you don’t love comics without telling me. There are tons and tons of brilliant books on the shelves every week.
this guy is super passionate, i just love passionate people.
Clay's dad is awesome! I'd love to sit and just listen to his stories about his collection and the years that he has spent searching for books and the insight on how he goes about collecting.
What an amazing collection! This guy collected his whole life and it's extremely impressive 👏
Clays dad kept those gems on ice as he should n thank u both for tge experience brother
I can’t even imagine what that feels like- I’ve talked to dozens of collectors that said they had asm15, ff1, iron man and so much more and their parents either threw them out or gave them away… 100’s of millions in books at a dump somewhere or lost forever

Yup that’s right. My brothers and sister grew up buying comics when the first of spider man , avengers, all of it. And our father threw them all away. He got pissed and was tired of books laying all over their bedroom floors. We would be rich. And we always would throw that in his face lol. Anyway, being the youngest. He ended making sure mine collection were in boxes. All because he eventually realized what a mistake it was throwing those books away.
Awesome vid, Awesome dude. Clay is lucky to have bonded with his Dad over Comics.. Especially making it family oriented. So cool & special.
this is your best video yet, love how you have the guy who is an old school fan, and collector , the dude is a treasure, keep making more of these vid's, they show that you can never be to old to do the things you love. Remember, it's not work if you love what you do !

OG comic dude,awesome!!
I am loving the level of respect that you have for become a collectors that you source from. Great video and thank you for sharing!
Situations like this are overwhelming in person. How do you make that initial “ice-breaker” decision on what to purchase in hope that the relationship continues?
This was a great watch. Super friendly dude. Would love to hear more stories and grab a beer with him! 🍻
Cool dudes you been meeting and great stories.
Love seeing other people's collections. Keep up the good work 👍
$100 Comic Box 🎁 Great Deal! 💵💵💵
When he said he's into FF and Frazetta I had to double check he wasn't me from the future come back to the past lol!! That man with his sons is what I wanted for me and my future family as my collection grew. Given how things are, there is no clue if that can still come true. Glad to see even if I can't get to do that. There are still some collectors like that.
Such a cool family - thanks for the video Comics Den, glad I found your channel - happy hunting!
Not into comics, but I enjoy watching people like yourself get invited to look at there collection. He was a lovely guy 👍
Nice video and some great books.
Cool collection
Clays dad sounds like he cares about the hobby for sure.
Do a series with this guy. Tutorial videos. Sounds like he has a ton of knowledge.
Just shows the diversity of great people in the hobby and their range of collecting!
Great collection, love the Surfer books.
Amazing stuff
Great video Brother. Totally Cooled-Out awesomeness of a video! Thanks for sharing Your passion and adventures from Toronto Ontario Canada ☺️👍♥️🇺🇸🇨🇦❤️💯💯💯💯💯✨️
Those giant giant turtles are AWESOME!!!! i would love tho have those, they are bigging then my mazingers xD I love seeing people collecting different stuff, having different favorite titles on display. His favorites were none of mine, But can't go wrong with silver age, that wolverine box was fantastic as well.
It’s so cool seeing old collections it’s kinda sad though seeing ppl sell there stuff that they obviously have loved collecting just hope the don’t get ripped off when they sell it
THE MAN YOU INTERVIEWED,IS AGREAT GUY!,I HAVE SPENT A LOT OF TIME IN HIS STORE,IT WAS AND IS A GREAT COMIC SHOP,!CLAY SINER IS A GOOD MAN,!!!THAT HAS A GREAT FAMILY,AND LIFE,!!CLAY IF YOU ARE READING THIS,HELLO IT'S STEVE ON THE BIKE,BE SAFE AND KEEPON KEEPING ON!!!!CLAY THANK YOU 4 ALL THE GREATEST YOU BRING 2 ALL OF US!!!😁!!!!AND 2 YOU SIR, THANK YOU 4 GIVING ALL OF US THE JOY YOU HAVE BROUGTH 2 US!!!!!!!🤣!!!!!!!!!!!
I love older comics too, and I can't wait to see what you got. See you at the con!
I like his philosophy of protecting old comics by slabbing them, not letting them deteriorate further. I wonder how many well-meaning mums did the same to their boys, giving away or throwing away their comics so the son would "grow up". Doesn't bear thinking about. I'm very impressed by Clay's dad, he comes across as really genuine and you can tell that he loved comics as a child and still loves them.
Great show man! Take us through some of the stuff you purchase at the end of the vids..
Tells him 400 times he has 1-100 of Wolverine “Do you have #8?”
I went to his shop a few times here in Florida I purchased some of the ronin signed graded comics from him
Great stuff! OG!
Nice man. Excited to see what was in the boxes u guys got.
Really nice guy. Love the way some of these sellers invite you in to look at their personal collections. I would love to have those Wolverine 1-100s and the original mini series.
Wait, he closed? I was just there about a year ago. A little high priced, but he had some GREAT stuff. There was an X-Men #1 I had my eye on. He is a great story teller. I could have stayed there all day, but had to go to a wedding.
Man I wish I could come across something like this!!!
que hermosa colección de comics felicitaciones todo un maestro y un artista de los comics bendiciones todo un Ángel
Great haul, just like to see another tent sale or your garage comic sale🙏

Coming soon!
AWESOME!!!!!
Awsome content loved it...😊
Is this collection in FL? I can’t even imagine keeping my books in an non- ACed storage container in FL!
$100 a box is a steal especially if they're all bagged and boarded and are not overstock duplicates. Good job.
I understand that that storage unit is lined with Styrofoam, but with Florida weather and the humidity. How does he keep those books from weather damage and becoming moldy? It does not seem to be the safest way to store, but may be the easiest.
good show
Cool stuffeven the wolverine.
Wow! I never knew Clay collected comics!! I used to work for Paul Weiss and G&W as an estimator! Hahahaha
Dude how long did it take to go through all them boxes? 😮. That’s dedication.
I don´t see myself as a collector but I coudln't avoid the fact that at some point in my life I bought garbage just because I intended to show off as a specialized collector. The fact is that most people don´t buy supposed collection comics. At the end you just want to get rid of all those things you bought foolishly. On the other hand, for me it is very important the stories, not just the art. If the story isn't good, it's not a good thing. I read every comic I buy and many have been just crap. That's why I stopped buying garbage and believe myself as a collector. I have money debts now and I regret for all the things I bought without taking care of future.
Great vid

Thank you!
I would have watched an hour video of him speaking.
Ooohhh I want those Wolverine comics👍
Amazing
dam these books are tight haha
wowwww crazy!!!!!!
2:10 TMNT 🐢 🐢 🐢 🐢 💙💜❤️🧡
What did you get from him?
He's just running a comic shop from his trailer. If you're selling a collection, you sell it as a whole. Not individually priced.
WOW!!!
I didn’t see much in those long boxes. For 100 a box I would’ve passed unless you found something better then what you were showing
These videos always always remind me, collecting is a crappy hobby. Everyone reaches the point where they “sell” their collection
Did he sell you that box of Wolverine?
lots of trash , no way would I pay $100 a long box .
Fine work.
I am not selling my collection at .30 a book. F that. See ya. Wouldn’t wanna be ya
