Sinister’s origin was supposed to be muuuch different . He was supposed to be some kind of immortal child mutant, and he was originally at the same orphanage that Cyclops was in when he was a child (His name was Nate too, I believe .). I personally like the scientist origin more , it gives him more pathos and more of a tragic background and edge. I do like him being totally irredeemable and evil . I HATE that he’s on the island now (Cyclops would not tolerate him .)!

Also , I should add that originally he had nothing to do with Pryor. Pryor was never supposed to be a clone or a villian.

Pretty much, yes. Plus, he can transfer his essence to another person if he _does_ die.
