Coming back for my 4th watch through, and every time it's been at very different points in life, and I 100% agree on this changing brain chemistry. It always gives something different to take with you, and I can't wait to see where I am by the end of this for the 4th time and Amnesty for the 3rd. idk a gobbo actually killed me in the first player fight I had

The beginning fight couldn’t have gone any better. They burned a gerblin alive, then froze and shattered him to death. They cut one in half down the middle. They chucked an ax 25 feet and killed one instantly. No damage taken, minimal property damage. I know it was practically a tutorial, but holy shit that was efficient.

The fact that the other goblins say not again when Justin, impersonating a goblin, says he got horny from killing tells me that that goblin on the bridge definitely had some secrets we didn't know about

If you're new to D&D and you want ideas of how you can improvise as either a Player or a Dungeon Master, then the Adventure Zone is probably one of the best series to watch. The McElroys take a pre-made module and just run away with it.

I finished this series more than a year ago, and after a while of not listening to any podcasts, I decided to come back. Just hearing, "The Adventure Zone!" and that intro music sent chills up my whole body. Your podcast has helped me through so much, thank you all!

I cried when listening to the first minute cause I thought about how far the shows gotten and just- It's really cool

bruh, the sponsor/messages segment at 1:18:30 was 10 minutes long. 2 sponsors, 2 messages from listeners, and a behind the scenes update, and I, a first time listener, wasn't bored. I can tell these guys do a podcast for a living because the sponsor readings sounded like a regular conversation and didn't make me dread listening to it, unlike some other ones I've heard. I will be returning to this podcast in the future!

I like that these are in way more digestible bites than crit role which can be past 3 hours long sometimes

The funny thing is most episodes are averaging 3 to 5 hours. I can now sit for long periods of time cause it was quite the task watching all of the episodes

My friend DM’d a DND campaign based entirely on this arc as my first DND experience and I loved it. Bought my 13yr old brother the first book in the series and he loved it so much I bought him the other two books for Christmas. I think it’s time to start this podcast for real.

I'm only now getting into DnD and some friends recommended this series. I'm excited!

I listened to the full podcast a while ago and just heard the intro song for the first time in maybe a year. It made me so incredibly happy.

Watching this because I saw a picture of one of the characters on pinterest and I asked who it was, and was recommended to watch this

to anyone listening to this for the first time during the pandemic, i hope youre liking it so far!! feel free to drop by and yell about it

I found an audio clip from episode 63 from a camp camp animatic and I got so invested in the audio I needed to find to original series and here we are :D

Watching this for the first time after a month of telling my self I have to watch this later then forgetting to actally watch it.

Always love coming back to listen to this towards the end of summer and finish somewhere in the winter (I like to pace it so it lasts)

I remember playing this campaign my first time, we didnt get past the dead horses bc we got ambushed and I passed out and my friend kicked me to death on accident

Came to listen because I have been reading the comics, just finished “The Eleventh Hour” tonifht, and learned that “The Suffering Game” releases in a few months. I NEED MY FILL UNTIL JULY!

God I remember when I started listening to this series a mere 4 years ago and everything sounded so confusing...Cantrips? dafuq is that? Saving throw? Um...sure I guess?? And now years later I'm playing BG3 and D&D on my own and am excited to revisit where it all began

This is my second time listening through, never gets old

I bought the adventure zone, the book, and I loved it so much that I had to see what else the authors had done (since it seemed like people loved these boys). This lead me right into the Loving arms of TAZ and MBMBAM! Love them so much. Thanks Nashville bookstore!

We played this scenario in my party and our cleric missed the goblin and set the forest on fire

3:46 I actually played with Gary Gygax at one of the first GenCons in 1982, and he was looking pretty long-in-the-tooth, then... He died, I think in 2008, so that's straining credulity.....

Been hearing a lot about this show. Here we go!
