Bill Walsh was a real champion coach. One of the greatest coaches of all time. Shanahan is on the level of Dan Reeves.

Shanahan's been out coached in two Super Bowls by Andy Reid. San Fran is 0-2 against Mahomes in the Super Bowl, Mahomes is 5-0 against San Fran since 2018. So clearly this 49ers team can be beat by at least one team.

It’s unfortunate but we have been through this before and we can rise again to the challenge. If not for Purdy getting hurt the niners would have been in 3 SB’s in the last 5 years. The only team more successful than the niners has been the chiefs. We will break through eventually. Pain and heartbreak is what breads champions. MJ had to get through the Detroit. Magic had to over come Bird and vise versa. Niners work too hard and fight and play like champions already, all they have to do now is go out there and finish the job.

I’m so ready for this season. Last year I started off the season hopeful, optimistic and looking forward to a brand new QB with a new season to start. This year, I’m just angry. Mad. I just want the opps each week to hurt after every game.

We can only hope, it all hinges on getting our defense back on top. I don’t blame Wilks for everything but his leadership produced an unacceptably weak defense.

Rather than showing the players train, the video should have shown the friggin' coach reading the rule book or watching film. It wasn't the players' fault they lost. The play calling let them down and not knowing the freaking OT rules when playing for the Lombardy trophy. Well, that and the fact they were playing the Chiefs, but that's another story.

I've been a 49ers fan since 1983 I was 8 years old and we haven't had a coach like Kyle Shanahan in years so no sir you're wrong you stick with your team Chiefs okay no disrespect bro but I know 49ers and we are on the verge of winning the Chiefs didn't hardly ever make the playoffs until Patrick Mahone so don't start getting uppity and because you won three Super Bowls remember we've won five and Joe Montana was the one who got me into loving football I remember when Montana went to the Kansas City Chiefs and took them to the playoffs but before then they hadn't been to the playoffs in Forever am I not right

I've been a lifelong Chiefs fan (since the mid 80's) and watched the Niners dominate the league in the 80's and 90's with Joe Montana and Steve Young. I know the Niners busted their ASSES in this Superbowl. Kyle Shanahan? Needs to go. Not just the defensive coordinator because he got outcoached, AGAIN. To think that you would be able to get it third in OT? that's just...fucking dumb. Outside of the Chiefs, George Kittle is my favorite player and he's just as good as Kelce in a lot of ways and not as good in other ways. If he leaves you guys, the Chiefs need to snag him QUICK. Good luck next year. Even if they don't make it to the Superbowl again, good luck.

I am a long-time 49er fan & I agree that Shanahan got out-coach. But its not a reason to get rid of him. His pride in some games & inability to adjust is what loses us games. Kittle 2 for 4 yards, Deebo 3 for 33 yards & Aiyuk didn't do much better at 3 for 49 yards (Kyle & the weak O-line fault).
