Just remember, even Olympic skaters have little mishaps. What you are doing is hard and it seems like once you loosened up and skated more for fun it worked better for you which I know you realize. Congratulations!

I was watching your video, hoping to relax a bit because I felt like I was forgetting something that was on my to do list but I just couldn't remeber what it was. Can you talk more about how you started competing? I'm 26 with a figure skating background too and I just got artistic inline skates - but there is not much information out there about them! Do you compete against quad skaters? How do I know what level I would be considered? Etc.

You needed to speed up your movements just a tad as it looks like your motion to tempo was off - made you look mechanical rather than graceful. The ability to feel the music and translate that into movement will be what elevates you. :)

@@Lilylikecom Yeah that is sometimes why you need a third eye on things - outside of tempo issue though, you do have nice arm extensions :)
