The beast is a very well-written villain. He tricks people into thinking he's helping them in order to keep his lantern lit, yet we don't know the true reason he's trying to keep the lantern lit. I have an interesting conection with this song... Im a simpel guy from Sweden. I don't earn much and I lived at home for a long time. But one day I moved out with my lovely girlfriend and about a year later we went on our first vacation on ourself to London. That was the BEST vacation ever. we decided what and when we would do everything. Such freedom and London is such an old, big and beautiul city! But... then short after that we was forced to move. We came to a cold apartment that was filled with mold in the walls. Also Greta Thunberg started to shout and scream to people to never go with airplane again. My gf was scared to ever fly again and we was stuck in a cold home. Whenever I would hear this song, I would feel so depressed. We watched this tv-show directly after London so it felt like they were conected. It felt like the song would say: that happy time was AGES ago,. Everything fun is over and now you are stuck in the darkness.

Just rewatched OTGW last week and cried, good lord I love this series
This is the only scene in any media that got me close to crying in recent years. This music certainly helped
Soooooo chilling. This goes into my research playlist for my next novel

Why am I the only one talking about the tuba line at the end. That thing is a work of art

I was today years old when I realized Greg was singing potatoes and molasses and holy crap that hurt me watching him die with thus song
Hermoso 😍!
When I heard the Beast sing the first time, I went "MEPHISTOPHELES?!" and sure enough, he's Samuel Ramey who made a career of playing the Devil :D
Could literally fit into dark souls ost.

No One: Me: **inhale** ... **BELTING OUT THE GROW TINY SEED PART**

I’d say 2000 to 2015 was the era of creepy kids shows. With flap Jack, courage the cowardly dog and this. Shows that are light but delve into dark mature themes are adventure time and regular show.

Come wayward souls And wander through the darkness There is a light for the lost and the meek Sorrow and fear are easily forgotten When you submit to the soil of the Earth Grow, tiny seeds You are gone to the tree Rise, until your leaves fill the sky Until your sighs fill the air in the night Lift your mighty limbs And give praise to the fire
