Lovely plants Laura, the box balls will need to be looked after, as there is a box moth problem sweeping across the country, they lay eggs and the grubs eat the leaves☹️ the lavender needs lots of grit mixed into the soil when planting in pots and full sun. And slugs love hostas, if you spray with garlic water should help. Sorry to sound negative.

Happy birthday Laura!🎂🎈🎁 Just thought I’d give you a little gardening tip. Clematis like their roots to be kept cool, so don’t let the pot get too hot. Also, it may be wise to pop it in a larger pot because it will be pot bound in no time. To trail it along the top of the pagola, nail up some wire and thread it along. Your garden looks amazing, just like you! PS don’t forget to water and fertilise. Love your channel!❤️😍

Happy gardening Laura 🪴🌸 this is my first year of growing veg/flowers in my greenhouse & I’m loving it. If the bulbs you’ve put in are tulips they won’t flower until next spring. Recommend penstemon, cosmos, salvia & nepeta for long summer flowering & instant wow factor 🤩. Your clematis will probably need putting in ground rather than a pot, with shade around the roots. Maybe try an evergreen flowering jasmine on the pergola? Enjoy x

Your clematis could do with being in a bigger pot but if its in bud don't repot it now. Clematis roots like being in shade, so a thick covering of gravel or pebbles would be a good idea. To train it up the woodwork, just staple wire up the woodwork and so you then have something to tie the plant shoots to. A gravel mulch on all your pots will help them not dry out in the sun. Are you sure you are watering everything enough? It all looks very dry. New plant roots in the borders need regular watering .
