The first time I visited there was in 1979 and it still keeps growing! You was saying about women banned from the pub, in Hull one of the oldest pubs banned women until late 60’s or early 70’s. The Ye Old White Hearte.

@@GabyStarbuckx Nowadays it’s unbelievable but I can remember pubs having a off-licence attached to them so the wife’s could get a jug of beer 🍺 for themselves and the husband. Hull was one of the biggest fishing ports and it was work hard and drink hard.

@@GabyStarbuckx They used to be a very fun place in Chatham called dickens world, it open up in 2007 they made to look like Charles Dickens time so people can smell what it was like and they had school room with a school teacher and had places of Oliver and Christmas carol, they even a boat ride but you get wet. There was also a Ballpark room for the kids. I remember one of the who was playing her roll told me I bet you taken your shoes off also there were lots of acting going on around, if feel like I step back in time. When I went back there for my 2nd visit it wasn't really the same and it got closed down in 2016.

Hi Gabby, that was a good video, Casper made me laugh!,especially at end when he was trying to bite you and you were asking him not to!, he was laughing at you, it was so funny!. I didn't know Casper was on a rain now, does he try to pull you over!. We were put on the rains me and my twin brother and I think she had trouble keeping up with us, I would've loved to have seen that!. When is Tim back from Las Vegas, will he be there when you have coffee morning tomorrow!,if your still having it tomorrow?

What a fantastic vlog! Beamish is such an interesting place. You are right in saying parts of beamish have been used for TV and film, one tragic film about miners called The War Below and 2015 Christmas downtown Abby. If you're interested in more places similar may I recommend Critch Tramway Village near Matlock baths. Thankyou for the lovely vlog

We love beamish, it’s great place to visit, the annual pass is good if u live in the area. We live about 20 minutes from it, did u manage to go the fish in the 1+950’s but also in the pit village fish shop Davys which is fab. You do need a couple of days to get round beamish if u are a visitor not from the north east. My son has been going since he was 4 or 5 and he is now 13 but still loves it. The. Always heard about Beamish! If you're ever down in the West Midlands, we actually have two of those sorts of museums. The Black Country Living Museum in the Dudley area and Blists Hill in Ironbridge. The Midlands was huge for industry work, hence why we have these museums. Both great. Blists Hill is slightly bigger and my favourite of the two!
