Kat as the Dowager was the best. May her husband who died mysteriously rest in peace. And Amaury would have made a great looking Whickam

Fireworks always bring out the sweet child in every adult. For 20 minutes or more your troubles of life are gone and you're enjoying the amazing feeling of being in awe of lights dancing in the sky.

I know exactly what you mean. I’m having urgent spinal surgery in four days so this was just the dose of magic I needed. I’ll never go to anything like that but the vlog was like being there and being part of Stephanies party. Tears of joy rolled down my cheeks seeing everyone so happy and enjoying themselves. The La Landers are a very special group of people.

Has anyone else noticed Stephanie's new signet type ring (worn on her left hand, left finger) in what looks to be a copper or brass metal ... and that Philip has the exact same ring? What could this mean? She almost seems to be making a point in the Cortona and following videos, to flash it across the screen? Also, btw, is that a tattoo she has ... some sort of vertical word arrangement on her inner left arm? Can't make out the word. I'm telling you, it's hard to keep up!

I got married and Moved to the United States where I live now but I miss Versailles so much I used to go every year to see my Mom but she passed away last year and I could’nt even go to her funeral! What a magical night for everyone! It felt like I was there with all the LaLanders. I enjoyed seeing Marie back with the group but Cat is definitely the life of the party! Stephanie’s cousin looked like he would be the prince from Cinderella-very dashing!

@Real Aiglon nah, inoculations are the only thing that even began to eradicate smallpox, and modern science has taken us so far since then. I understand completely the view you hold, but truly there are good people fighting for the good of the people even if you only see the bad. we eradicated polio, smallpox, and have heavily decreased the presence of many other infectious diseases through the miracle of science. i hope you think about why you hold these views against science/fact, and I hope you are safe and healthy.

This was delightful! The first one that I watched more than once. The singing, the mannered, graceful dancing, it appeared as though it could have been yesterday or today. Cat's ability to have fun is infectious. A night to remember or all.

Casually watching our daily Château life content when suddenly at 11:07 your friends pop on screen😂😂😂 the dancers from Carnet de Bal. Should we send an invite for the next ball? I had a historical ball organized in the Netherlands in spring 2020, but obviously got postponed to 2022. I’ll send an invite once we have a new date.

Well, that was ridiculously amazing! What an incredible night. One day I'll return from Australia where this type of experience is impossible. 80% of the cities look like Neighbours. 50 years ago is ancient history. And I'm in Perth which has even less built history than Sydney or Melbourne. Cat is such a wonderful person with such energy and personality.

Everyone's hair so so well done, styled beautifully. Whoever the artist is, well done. It makes all the difference.
