Really love this trio, Drummer is so tasty, Nice to hear a drummer trade 4’s with such impeccable time and great ideas, rather than some jack ass bashing his brains out. LOVE IT!!!

First time I watched this clip on youtube. I baught one of his album around 15 years ago at he blue wisp club downtown Cincinati . it was fantastic night there. He's such a great jazz pianist. I still have his cd in my car from now on.
Wow-really great playing all around...and just the perfect amount of arranging too. And the sound fidelity is fantastic on my earbuds.

Phil, you are such a great joy to watch and to listen to, throwing in the left hand sparingly and creatively, laying back on the best so relaxedly. Your left hand voicings and right hand imagination, a total pleasure. And your side cats are the bomb. You all listen so well and respect each other, bringing out the best, which is pretty friggin' awesome. Bravos all around, and thanks for the way cool.
