Your peals are so beautiful and Akoyas are an excellent investment. I see one of Australia’s top pearl dealers, David Norman (he supplies Tiffanys, Cartier and Bulgari with pearls) on TV every few months and he said that Akoyas have increased in value by 400% since 2020 due to scarcity. I bought my first strand in 1984 for Aud300, around 150 pounds. They are worth several thousand today. I hope yours do as well and that you love and wear them for a lifetime. The thing about salt water pearls is that they are at their dullest when you buy them and the more you wear them the brighter the lustre becomes.

Never thought of Tiffany as a pearls destination. Also, the cuffs are stunning too. The silver and rose gold cuffs are my favorites. The cuff selection on the UK website is different on the US site. The UK site also has cuffs inlaid with tiger's eye, black jade, turquoise, obsidian - and I love it! I wonder if I can order from the UK site being in the US? Best to you and hubs. How's your mom?
