I would love to 'HEAR her record a whole album of "Oldies but Goodies" whose lyrics have become mutilated through the years! Can't say ENOUGH .She does put screaming into the mike and disrobing to shame, doesn't she ? SIMPLICITY with honesty...Hope she never goes to perform in Hollyweird; well the Hollywood Bowl might be nice ? One of those "types" of voices that could make you feel better, but just hearing her call you on the phone with it!! Wonder which comes first to the listener; which came first, the song...or the singer ? this is one that presents the debate well. The "song" has "become" synonymous with "her." Thanks to JESSE HARRIS, composer, but it Helps to have the world of tones at one's fingertips-What a great combination, Nora and her piano! Jesse Harris | The Ferdinandos - Don't Know Why | Lyrics Meaning Always wondered why UT doesn't mention who wrote the song; only the singers and bands ' names show? What a beautiful bed of guitar chord roses, on which to base the flowing feelings of a Nora Jones; Just beautiful...wonder which came first, Jesse---? the chords, then the melody, yes ?I think many bands and producers PUSHED many great singers through beautiful lyrics, just to meet their own goals. (Poor Patsy Cline comes to mind-pushed to sing COUNTRY when she had the feelings of a Nora Jones behind the lyrics!) To those who claim to not "understand" the lyrics...Haven't you ever wondered why you procrastinated on a good deal, then thought about it later as having been a missed out on a good deal situation? She now has a song called Paradise. From her 9th studio album, "Vision's". A departure for Jones in a way. But it sure is good, if a little different. A lot of the songs have a 70's era pop vibe but don't ask how I'd know, I'm an 80's child, so I shouldn't. But that's the vibe...

Norah Jones, please recruit these gentlemen for an album of any kind. I've watched this 7 times in the nine months it's been released and the art of communication is so beautiful in all sincerity. Your leadership shows in how you let each song breathe, letting each contributor make every moment seem natural and organic. It may sound cliche and cheesy, but thank you for sharing all of your gifts, but more importantly the thoughtfulness you all shared in each moment of this recording. Priceless.

The thing is it depends on the music, and what it needs. Sure, you can ask, but it's like asking an impossible question. only the musician will know who and WHAT their music needs. As example, Brian Blade was a good fit for main drummer on Norah's 6th Studio album, Daybreaks. Furthermore, I must presume you are aware all of those musicians involved with this live recording, were involved with the album this is a celebration of? In this case, well, let's just say Norah's experienced enough to have a good handle on who she needs for any project she's doing.

Hello Norah! I’m an 18 year old student from Korea. When I lived in the U.S, my mom used to turn on her favorite songs and shared them with me. And among them your songs were always her number one picks. However, I was too young to understand how beautiful your songs were. But time passed and I got the chance to listen to your song Don’t know why” and all my old memories came back to me. I was so stunned by your voice and how it made me feel so relieved. Ever since that day, you’ve become my favorite singer and I’ve been listening to your albums whenever I felt lost. And now that it’s the 20th anniversary for my favorite album, I had to come and celebrate. Congratulations and thank you for everything!!

Norah is truly one of the very, very best. Her voice, emotion, precision, and how she touches every key on the piano would make her exceptional even if she were just playing solo. Her style of music has multiple genre influences and is truly her own. She is so unique. But bringing all that into an ensemble brings her into the stratosphere. She surrounds herself with amazing talent. I've become very sensitive to listening to phrases and chord progressions and hers are just amazing. Enthralling. She uses those magical transition jazz chords right in the perfect spots better than I've heard anyone do. I mean it's just perfection. I'll probably have to listen again because with her as with many artists, sometimes I'm so caught up in listening to the intricacies of the music e.g. (instrumentation, rhythm/groove, chord progressions etc.) that I can't giving full attention to the poetry of the lyrics. Perfect 10

She makes you feel what you wish you could express. And so we continue, hopefully, to inspire and be inspired...To be able to, hopefully create from these deep wounds that true artists are doomed to and destined to 'feel'. When I 'feel' the comments I've read today, I see one more beautiful artist after another getting 'inspired'. You are all so beautiful...I love watching each one of you... coming out of 'life's cocoons' and letting your Colors Fly in a way that only YOU can do! ❤‍🩹❣😿💔❤😺💌

I love Norah Jones, as a performer. She really gives justice to jazz music, one of my favorite ❤ Best and God bless!

Most humans have. Always wondered why UT doesn't mention who wrote the song; only the singers and bands ' names show? What a beautiful bed of guitar chord roses, on which to base the flowing feelings of a Nora Jones; Just beautiful...wonder which came first, Jesse---? the chords, then the melody, yes ? "Cryin the Blues Confused " by Frans Beelard & Lynda Faye. With writers out there such as Jesse, no hope Nora would even listen to mine!" "Why War?" if only Nora could turn those violins into piano keys! ("I Fall to Pieces With a Touch of Class---ical guitar from Italy!") LyndaFayeSmusic@Yahoo/Bandcamp/Soundcloud
