Maybe she didn’t get called that herself- no excuse though. I had a difficult mom relationship too. My mom passed in 2020 and I was by her side. Its been a rollercoaster of emotion for me knowing how to process it all. I’ve come to the place right now that I’m appreciating the good things about her that she impressed upon my life as well as forgiving some of bad - I too have done things I’m not proud of that I need to address. I’m hoping you find your peace 🙏🤍

I am new to your channel but this episode made me cry. I just lost my mom this past September and for years, she was my partner in crime. One of our favorite things when I visited her was to go to all the antique shops in Fl. We both loved antiques and especially the thrill of the hunt, but most of all, the road trips together. Enjoy your mom to the max because once they are gone nothing will ever be the same. God bless to you and your family.

What a special day with your mom. Cherish these moments and memories. My mom passed away 8 years ago and I miss her so much. We loved thrifting together whenever she was visiting from out of state. Lovely finds and they will all fit so nicely in your home.

I am 77 years old and lost my husband almost two years ago. We built our house, and he had just purchased wood for building custom cabinets. I was overwhelmed with grief, debt, and an unfinished house. I am blessed with a family that has stepped in and helped me, but they are also very busy and have families of their own. About 3 months ago, I found your channel. Watching you with your mother is so heartwarming. Makes me miss my mother, we did all kinds of things together. You will treasure these days. The music is wonderful. The scripture is wonderful. I love to go thrifting with you and your mother virtually. Sometimes, I watch the episode a few times. You have given me so many ideas on how to move forward on my unfinished projects. I found my Habitat Store and local Goodwill. It’s so nice to see you and your mom out together. I just watched the Christmas tour of her house! It’s not hard to see where you get your sense of style and decorating. I just found your channel. You were in Goodwill, and I spotted a frame that said Mullett Lake, where memories were made. I grew up on Burt Lake. My parents owned Hoppies Tavern, and I believe it is still there and in business. Thanks for bringung back some great memories from just seeing a frame. We have the same taste in Antiques❤️❤️

I saw so many nice items. You are blessed to have your mom to shop with. My mom has been gone for several years now and I miss her every day. I hope you found some items you liked.

Elizabeth you said that you had a copper bucket with the blue ceramic handle and that you had a hard time styling it, well I did too and finally I just planted a Pothos plant in it and since they don't have to be water very often (and not very much at that) it has been doing really well and I just sat in the floor in a nice spot (they don't even need a lot of sunlight) so you might try that. Loved all your finds especially the copper pieces and I loved your mom calling you honey, she is precious and I love her hair! Happy New Year to you both!

I love all the beautiful copper pieces you found today! Just gorgeous! Having your Mom along is so much fun, she finds great things for you every time! I remembered some of the prices from the shopping footage, but not all. The one thing I would like is if you would mention prices, or add them to the screen throughout the shopping and haul. A lot of the prices, especially red tags, or prices written very small, don't show up for us.

My daughter and I thrift all the time together and we have the best time! Cherish your relationship! It’s priceless! You have found some beautiful antiques! (Would love to see your Mom’s purchases too, when she shops with you Elizabeth). A blessed New Year! Shari

Did you say the day after Christmas?!🎄🎅Geez Louise I’m flat on my back exhausted- like a hurricane hit me- always wondering how I pulled off ‘the Christmas miracle’ as no matter how much I plan I find myself running around crazy and up half the night wrapping- then continuing to facilitate the next day and cooking- all I want from Santa is sleep! * 🇺🇸The flag part was adorable- not as cute as your mom though- what a pleasant woman- my goodness- you guys make a great shopping team!

Those copper pitchers are good nexg to a fireplace with long matches or flowers depending on the time of year.....
