    2:40 in Storm 4 I mostly use the chakra recovery glitch for opponent to mostly ran away! But 90% of the opponents start of the match with the bait mechanic . Tom and Jerry . You should lose health if you start running away like that

    That's actually an amazing point and you're right. I also use the chakra recovery glitch in storm 4 but I almost always use A tier o B tier characters and stay away from the S tier characters and the best most ab usable jutsu. So I can have fun and play with skill and compete with the meta. I don't like runners either it's super lame

    Honestly having combos is the only main reason I bought this game. I feel like every character is more viable and has the potential of doing damage, while in storm 4 you could count in your fingers the number of units that could do a combo into UJ without stun locking glitch or using supports to lock opponents in place. Also, as a person who's mainly plays favorite characters from the show the majority of my games I pick ranged characters 😶 in connections I can finally be creative and combine projectile combos into dashes, close combat and stuff (not to mention their combos finally don't have gaps lol it took them 15 years). Now a hot take of mine: supports opening people up for combos should be toned down, like, they should be mainly a neutral reset/pressure tool and not carry you. In my mind it would encourage people to learn combos with their mains on field idk

    That is a super big positive that every character is viable to a certain extent and a lot more playable than past games. Thanks for this S tier comment and pointed out all the good things! It did take them 15 years! That's totally wild. I think you're on to something since almost no one plays neutral in Connections when they play a heavy weight or s tier teams with s tier supports. The suports still do the work for you a lot of the time but not as much as pre patch. It is a lot better. I don't mind how the game is now but I don't think it's ideal. The version of the game that I want is probably not the one that we have but at the same time you have to play the game that you have.

    Exactly, one of the best things of storm connections is that most of the characters have combo potential (raikage Ay, pts hinata sadly does not have any infinite and Time Skip neji down combo infite in 60 FPS does not work because can be blocked) unlike in previous games where only few characters could combo into UJ by themselves without a stun lock glitch or a support's help, storm connections is, in terms of combos freedom, what the storm series should have been since storm generations.

    Giving more options for combos is nice but they made some things a bit too easy. Especially the crumble stun. Haku is a good example of a tougher character to use because he doesn't have a combo that crumbles. You literally have to do some extra digging to find ways to get good damage with him. Chakra is needed to use his jutsu to extend combos at the right time.

    I agree it's a bit too easy and there is no risk of dropping a combo and no reward of completing them since it's expected that you complete the combo all the time regardless of the route you take. Haku is amazing! you're right

    I totally agree with you. Heavy weight teams can be fun too if you're both using heavy weight teams but for the person watching it I don't think it's nearly as exciting as watching 2 middle weight teams fight each other with real good neutral, footsies and decision making with 50/50 match ups. That is way better than the meta. But lately I've been enjoying the meta for what it is at least more than I did before.

    People always try to find dumb ways to justify it. A glitch is a glitch. Now that I think about it. I think they nerfed the guard to reduce how much we can jump block and chakra dash counter. I just think they weakened the guard too much.

    I agree with you. They say most villians think they are the hero of their own story. Just look at Danzo he thought he was doing the right thing for the village but on the outside looking in he was not a hero for most people. There are good and bad glitches but if they took it out of the game they probably thought it was a bad glitch too.

    You are also 100% right about the weak guard they did it to stop players from running away and did it to force players to play the game and finish as soon as possible rather than have drawn out matches.

    To be honest I don't like the falling stun or whatever you called because now it gives every character infinite combo also shuriken wake up pressure its bullshit bro and alot of jutsu hit you when you are in the ground I don't mind the other mechanics but this make me hate this game

    It does seem off that everyone gets an infinite and that all the infinite combos are super easy now compared to the past storm games. Storm 2 - Storm 4 it took more skill to do and it was easy to drop the combo. There is no real threat of dropping a combo unless it gets super laggy but even with a bit of lag you can still land most of your combos. Maybe that's why they made these changes for "quality of life" changes. The grounded shuriken are a love hate thing and many people dislike it. I have come to accept it for what it is since not using it would make the game non competitive at this point. They made the game like that on purpose and I'm not so sure they will change it. If they do change it back I'm okay with that too. But continuously changing the game is really annoying to have to relearn the game after every patch.

    @@DontLoseToFear I don't mind for new combo mechanics because it's gives alot of potential in combo like freedom but my problem it's so easy also some grab like s3 kakashi,sage kabuto,kimimaro after grab the opponent lead the ground and it shouldn't be hit him but they they make a limited when I already lead the ground no one can catch me also its stan for the items like defense tag gives more stun and it's easy to do an ultimate jutsu same thing with new counter
