In the new Dead Cells 3.4 update (Clean Cut), the Combo mutation was reworked. Now it gives a damage boost for every hit instead of every kill, and it scales exponentially if you keep the combo going, plus now it has a proper cool combo meter.
It works great with fast hitting melee weapons like the Abyssal Trident or, in this case, the Panchaku.
