Watching Winner's Finals: Noah's style of burning himself out so quickly makes him weak to Lily. Once your opponent is burned out, stocking wind is so much easier. That Noah still came so close says a lot about how good he is with that style.

@@jetsettech8804twas no mistake, all the big names are coming to Dallas, TX this weekend for Dreamhack cause of the EWC Qualifier. Combo Breaker being the weekend before DH ended up making it hard to justify going back 2 back weekends for the players who’d be traveling from furthest away. Imagine the price, like flying from JP, to Chicago, to Dallas and then back to Japan, all in the time span of around 2 weeks

That was an amazing hype tournament set between El Chakotay & Noah, woulda been happy for either of them to win honestly. But when it comes down to it and with all the hard work, Chakotay's Lily has won her first major tournament. Congratulations to El Chakotay 🦅🌪💙

I was so hyped while watching this! Not a single set dropped and against some serious competition, what an incredible run!

1:07:13 The look in Yipes eyes. Just touching.

What lily really did was keep them honest. He handled the sand blasts like a pro and Luke's nooch got nerfed. You can see how Lily walked him down, and you can see the panic in Noah. The instant he got near the corner it was over. Raw jumps to try to avoid the wall led to free damage and he still got put in the corner. Pure Lily mastery Tay! He ran through like it was a breezy afternoon.

I wouldn't say it was that breezy, Noah is all but getting in with Luke's pressure when he has Drive meter or not. The first set in winners final was close being 2-2 until Noah slip up and give Chakotay's Lily an opportunity and then followed up in the grand finals is where he really went "Satsui no Lily" on Luke.

Character loyalists winning is so hype. A lot of respect for these players compared to others just picking top tier broken characters

It's not the character it's the player. Labbing, testing and playing always gives fruit but it's better if you put the effort on a character yoi love to play, not the broken ass un nerfed characters coughblankacough.

@@DPL58nobody has won any tournament with Blanka, except MenaRD, so don’t know what you’re talking about. Blanka is not actually commonly picked in tournaments either. It’s not Blanka who’s broken, but Mena 😂 Having said that, I also hate Blanka with passion, but because I hate his stupid dances when he wins. Specially in SFV and SF6.

The consistency of Chakotay with the anti air with crouch heavy punch is insane.

Saw chakotay some time ago in a tourney in sf5, he played super well in loser finals, but he completely fell in pressure against punk on grand finals, i saw that and i thought to myself " he is good but doesent have the nerve to become a pro" and here we are, with his nerves on full potential able to stay still, i hope he becomes a big pro because what he showed here was amazing
