I thought I was being too harsh on them (in my own head) because the commentary was driving me up the wall, I'm glad it's not just me after all.

I could put up with Chris T yapping over whole matches while barely acknowledging the actual gameplay, but the fact that he is ALSO such a WILD Ken downplayer is a bridge too far lmao

You could've swore Deejay murdered that man's family with how salty he is over it 😂. Deejay is great yeah but he constantly gets outdone by like 7 other characters, Luke and cammy among them

Chris T is knowledgable about the game but so much of the early matches you just talked about the characters and didnt actually commentate the match at all, I feel bad for the Deejay player because all Chris T did was complain about the system mechanic and the character and said nothing about the match

Oh i thought it was so much better, so many of the commenters on this just kind of talk about matches and the make "uh yeah uh" sounds when a char hits. I'd much rather hear some one talking about the chars etc then sounds. I'm watching the match I don't need play by play as much.

@@KungFuE80 Then go watch Chris T's podcast. These are tournament matches that require commentary about what is happening. I don't dislike Chris, but it seems commentary is not for everyone, or at least not natural for everyone. There was a lot of 'I hate this, I hate that,' or criticizing decisions. Commentary is about impartially narrating what's going on-frame data, decisions, and details-with a bit of personalization from the caster.

@@user-jy7vc8hq9o In your opinion. All the best commentators give opinions and high level knowledge in what’s going on behind the scenes. ‘Impartial narration’ is unnecessary if you know anything about the game and have eyes. Sf4 and mvc3 had the most hype commentary.

That DP was clearly an execution error and there was no low strong from Luke at all....Even if Punk purposely did that DP as a way to stop the potential whiff punish, that is HUGELY risky, the opposite of what Chris T was just saying about punk playing safe. Also, if Chris could focus more on match commentary instead of his own life, I think he'd be a better commentator. He obviously has good knowledge of the game, he just needs to know he is wearing a commentator hat right now, not his competitor or podcaster hat. Also, he needs a non-headset mic, it sounds weird with one guy on phone call quality.

Yeah no more Chris on the panel unless he is willing to just commentate and offer insight to the MATCHES and stops with extreme negativity. You can hear the other trying to salvage it but yeah. Super difficult please do give him another chance I think he could be great if he is more self aware

There is a commentator that complains Alot.. about characters, the game mechanics, the customs... Is very boring to hear him complaining all the time instead of commenting the fight.

I find it funny how most of the comments are towards ChrisT's commentary and not of the actual gameplay lmao. Anyways congrats to (Insert: the winner of this tournament).

This is the funnies,t, most stupid comment of the whole tournament. Genuinely up there with Joe organ saying comedy was the last defensive line of free speech. So out of touch it's insane during these moments 😂 Chris does have a habit of trying to make things sound prolific.

Punk really made third giving people a first game head start bro how is this man so good?

Chris T is one of the worst “pro” players in SF. He always complains about how other characters in the game is a lot stronger than Ken and how Ken is no longer good because of the nerfs. The dude likes to ride off Mena’s glory through SF league when everyone knows that Bandits only won because Mena carried the whole team. The dude then goes on to post a video of him beating Punk and includes one of Punk’s past twitter tweets in the video as an indirect disrespect and then Punk calls him out and challenges him to a FT10 money match but Chris T gets scared and doesn’t respond because he knows he can’t win a FT10 against him. Chris T always wishes he can be invited to big tournaments like Red Bull kumite but never participates in any of the LCQs. He didn’t even participate in the Capcom cup LCQ. He’s always looking for shortcuts instead of putting in the hard work. And now instead of doing a proper commentary for a SF tournament, he likes to run his mouth about his life and how DJ is overpowered. Chris T is an absolute fraud.
