I watched one of your videos, got a stick and a tire and started hitting it. It's hard work and is going to take a while before my body will be able to truly get a work out from it but it will make me hard. I've done nothing for too long. Thank you for the inspiration ❤

the twirling strikes are called abaniko or pitik, it is used in corto (close/short range) and medya/mid range. thehorizontal strike is called banda y banda . As Kali, Escrima and Arnis Instructor (3rd degre)here i. Phiippines, i couldld tell that guy is a legit, i can see that his techniques is a combination of balintawak, arnis de querdas and abaniko style.. maybe he is from 7 pares or dose pares club. He also use rompida strike.

those wrist movements are also used to mask your stick's trajectory. because you usually look at the oponent's face, weapon and arm so you wont notice these small changes if you are not aware of the technique. We use it a lot on balintawak arnis.
